Compact, rechargeable, easily adjustable
I love this grinder. Most compact grinder’s operating principle is the same way as how a food processor works. The end result is similar to a ground coffee but it actually isn’t ground, it’s processed coffee. This grinder works with exactly the same principle as a manual hand grinder. The top section is battery and motor, middle section is the coffee bean reservoir and the bottom section is a glass cup collects the ground coffee. You can see the ground coffee as it is ground in the glass cup and you can change the size of the ground coffee easily anytime. This little guy has every feature I want on a coffee grinder: it’s so compact and doesn’t take so much storage space, rechargeable hence cordless, holding charge for a long time, motor automatically stops when all coffee beans in the reservoir is ground, easily lets you adjust ground coffee to your liking. The only downside that I can tell is that it can only grind coffee for 1 cup at a time because the reservoir takes that much coffee beans. I usually make 2 cups of coffee at a time and I have to run the grinder twice which is no big deal for me at all. The middle section of the grinder must have been designed twice as big to make it available and in that case grinder wouldn’t be that compact. So overall I’m extremely happy with this product, I love it and the coffees I make with it.

Frustrating, but good for trips or camping
tl;dr: Okay for the price, but it has some major functionality issues. It stops running after a few seconds and doesn't stay on the grind size you put it on. However, it is small and rechargeable, so it could be useful for trips.I've now had this for a few months, so it seems like a good time to write a review. I got this grinder because it was way cheaper than most burr grinders on Amazon, so it seemed worth a shot. However, I would not recommend this item for daily use. For a couple of weeks it worked pretty well, but eventually it got really frustrating to use.The motor will no longer run for more than a few seconds at a time, even when fully charged. This issue is worse when you are trying to make a fine grind, and you have to press the button several times to get enough coffee for one cup.I also find that the dial you turn to select how fine or coarse your coffee is turns itself to be coarser over time, so its really hard to get the size you want. That being said, it is a burr grinder that costs $20. It's small and easy to transport. It holds a charge well, and you don't need to recharge it for several days at a time. I'm getting a nicer grinder for everyday use, but I'm going to keep this around to take with me on trips, especially visiting family this holiday season. It's nice to be able to take my preferred coffee beans with me instead of drinking whatever cheap coffee my family has laying around.

Slow but adequate
Initial impression was favorable on unboxing, but on the first grind the lower grinding disc unscrewed itself & fell into the jar. Fixed that with a couple of wraps of teflon tape around the threads & replaced the adjusting nut with a nylon wing nut (5mm thread). That worked great, no further problems with the adjustment, although the grind is not particularly consistent.Initially the battery managed a total of around 35 minutes total grind time on a fairly fine setting - about 3 to 4 turns of the adjustment nut backed off from a locked up position. Each grind of a full chamber averaged about 5 minutes. The grinder was used daily & all went well for about 10 months, by which time the battery was getting weaker & could no longer hold a full charge. The unit would cut off frequently during use even after a fresh charge. It would recover somewhat after a short rest & continue grinding, but for shorter periods. At 12+ months of use, I am getting no more than 2 chambers ground - with several restarts - before having to recharge the battery. The USB charging port is a bit on the cheap side, needing a few wiggles to make a good connection. The battery is replaceable, but a new battery on Amazon costs around 75% of a whole new unit, so is hardly worth doing. In conclusion, this unit operates well enough but is not up to daily use.

Ugh, garbage
Adding to the list of negative reviews:- doesn't stay adjusted.- very inconsistent grind - I'm grinding for French Press and at a coarse setting I get everything from powder to chunks so big it's like the burrs took a sliver off the side and pushed an almost whole bean through.- add me to the list of folks frustrated by having to give it a little shake, wait for the light to stop flashing and hit the button again as it shuts off about 10 times per hopper-full.- last but not least, it fell apart and I had to fish the bottom burr, a square plastic piece, and a spring out of my grounds and finish grinding in my old machine.

Product Design Recommendation
This is my second unit and I use it everyday. I like the grinder and have no issue recommending it to anyone. That said, I'd recommend Mixpresso to consider changing the product on how the top piece (motor) is locked to the middle piece (grinder). As I have highlighted in the attached picture, the locking mechanism is based on the two little "insets" which I think are not strong enough. The motor is quite powerful and the plastic insets locking pieces will eventually break. This is how my first one was broken. My second unit so far is performing well and I hope the locking part will stay intact

Works great, bit slow.
We like this grinder. Shuts itself off when it’s done, which is a good thing as it is a bit slow. Still, we like it and would buy again for the price.
