This is perhaps one of the most fun and cost effective Quadcopters on the market. That is, if you are willing to put in a little extra work and are not afraid to make a few modifications. I got this for my son and it has turned into a very fun and interesting experience. Reading the reviews you can see that this quad has some motor burnout issues. Yes, it happened to us too. But we have really enjoyed taking this thing apart and fixing the issue. My son has unknowingly learned a lot about motors, electronics and a little physics. Sure beats video games! Anyway, we modified this quad by drilling extra holes in the motor compartment (helps with cooling) and replaced the "bushings" (8 in total) with higher ball bearing bushings to reduce friction (the bushing at the top and bottom of the propeller shafts). Even more fun, while we had this disassembled, my son gave it a custom paint job! Look at this as a project and a learning experience. The mods have worked great and we haven't burned out a motor since! This quad is very fast, very agile and very responsive. Plenty of parts are available for this quad on Amazon.

I bought this as a starter copter. Taking the reviews and price into consideration I figured this was a pretty safe purchase. If all I had to do was maybe replace a motor, according to the reviews, not a big deal. I received it really quickly. I unpacked it to make sure everything was there, and tossed out the instruction manuals (I'm a man). After changing the 3 batteries and the monitor I put a battery in and made sure everything functioned correctly in the house. It was good to go so I headed outside. A few flights to figure out how to fly it and I've been having fun since. I found it fairly easy to fly. Haven't had any mechanical problems either. I'm having so much fun with it I just ordered 4 more high capacity batteries, a 4 battery charger, a set of bearings and a couple of extra motors just in case. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase. In retrospect the only thing I wish I would have done differently is buy the next bigger package and got all the extra stuff in one purchase. So ordered the H8D on Christmas Day. Was glad when showed up on Jan. 10th. Mine has the 2 extra 750 MAH batteries and was glad as those I get about 10 min. on a d 7 min. on 500 MAH one. All was received in great condition. First flight was inside a d very limited. Great quad a d great control. 2ND flight was at night and when I took up so high could barely see it, just let off throttle and came right back down to me. I am very impressed and would recommend to anyone who wants a great quad for not a lot of money.

this product worked very well intill when flying and got to the range limit it did not return like they said it should. in stead it keep flying and it was lost. could not recover the drone.now all that we have is the remote

VERY POOR QUALITY. SECOND FLIGHT AND MOTORS SHUT OFF AND IT FELL TO THE GROUND BREAKING BODY INTO ABOUT 2" FROM THE PROP. NOW I HAVE A 130.00 PIECE OF SCRAP.SENT A MESSAGE TO BUILDER NO REPLY.

This was a great quad copter, great video, great control, until one of the motors burnt out. Went on line and found out that this model is known for this problem but I ordered extra motors and i am putting in bearings because it is well worth the extra effort. I am very happy with this drone.
