Lapco Lap 6CW 6 3/4 6-Panel Welder's Caps, 6 1/2", White ,1 Piece

I knew I was only getting one with my order from the description, so I ordered 3 for my husband. They are well made - only one of the 3 fit him. That is no big surprise of any welding cap. Welding caps are something one really must try on because they are not going to be exact every time. However, my question is this: Would it have been so hard to grab one of each pattern when packing to ship? We recieved 2 of the same pattern in our assortment. The reason this is a bummer, is because my husband is able to identify different fits by the pattern. Many times, I've heard him say, "I'm looking for the yellow one, it fit's snug over my ears," or, "I need the red one, it wears better over my forehead.". When you have several of the same pattern, it's hard to distinguish one from the other. It wouldn't kill someone to reach into different bins or boxes to vary the patterns. I sent the ones that didn't fit to work with him to sell to the other guys and broke even on my purchase ;)

I haven't actually measured my head lately, but last time I did, I was right on the line between a 7 1/4 and a 7 3/8, and this fits around my head just fine (AFTER it was washed and dried once). But while most baseball caps don't come down anywhere near my ears, this cap goes well over my ears. I prefer to have a cap like this fit tightly to the top of my head, but I also dislike having my ears pushed out or covered up. Unfortunately, with this cap, I can't have it both ways.

Very thin and falls off frequently due to my hair pushing it up. (4" top, shaved sides) Seems to be more for bald or nearly bald headed people.

Perfect for wearing under my hardhat. I like to wear it backward under my brain-bucket because I'm kewl and I wear my hardhat backward. The brim is non-rigid so it wraps around my neck a bit and doesnt get caught in the collar of my foul weather gear. Also the brim protect my neck from the sun a bit. There is a bit of excess fabric on top so it does look a little weird but nobody will see that.

Great cap for the price! They are sold as 1 item so don't think that you are getting 6. For some reason people are complaining that they only got one when they expected 6... It is a 6 Panel hat not 6 hats and at the price you obviously don't get 6 of them. The fit is a little large so order one size up and it should be good. I actually received the wrong size but sent them an email and they sent out the correct size right away! Plus its fun not knowing what color you will get! I got a pretty cool green one with dirt bikes on it! I would order again

Not the pattern I chose but it fits well & the fabric is quality & fits well.

Husband loves them but did not get to pick colors. Ordered several but got two of same color of white which hubby did not like.
