Beautiful but very disappointed.
We purchased this crib back in the beginning of January. It is now nearly March and we still don't have a fully assembled crib. We've had to contact the company twice for a replacement headboard. The original and first replacement both arrived damaged along the top decorative curve corner of the piece. This portion of the headboard is made of compressed foam, not wood. It appears that in both cases the piece was dropped on the edge before packaging because there was nothing wrong with the packaging. As a result, the edges in question are smashed and the laquar to match the wood stain is chipped off. We contacted the company in both instances and they are sending yet another replacement. The costumer service representative that we spoke to was very nice but my husband had to specifically tell them to inspect the next headboard before they ship it to us. Also, since the product comes from Vietnam it takes quite a while to ship and they have not offered to put a rush on the replacement or a partial refund.This whole situation has been very frustrating and disappointing. The crib is lovely otherwise and appears to be constructed well. It's just that top piece made of the compressed foam. However, we now have two headboards that are damaged that we need to figure out what to do with.In the meantime I delivered our daughter in mid February (before the first replacement arrived) and this was the last thing that we were waiting on to finish the nursery. I'm disappointed that I can't even use her crib to put her down for a nap but have to put her in her pack-n-play in our room. I know that doesn't sound like a big issue but her nursery is closer to the center of our house right off the kitchen which would be closer for me to check on her while I'm doing stuff around the house. Even though the monitor is on, since I'm a first time mom, I get a little panicky when I don't hear anything for a while.
