Misleading description implies sub-titles are available..... Only after making payment can you find out that there are no sub-titles. And, the audio quality is very poor...... Typical mumbling by the actors with some of the lines vital to the plot impossible to interpret.Very poor value for money...... In fact, paying again (in addition to my subscription) is not reasonable ! That wasn't why I joined Prime in the first place.... Like the millions of others, I am contemplating defecting to Netflix !

Great movie

like the story just a bli slow

Interesting and learned more about the French mime artist who survived the Nazi occupation and saved the lives of many children during WW2.

I watched it all the way through but I was not wow-ed by it. Can anyone be wow-ed by this subject matter? True stories are worth sharing but not all are exciting.

This is film making and acting at its best. Jesse Eisenberg is superb in the leading role. The direction, composition and script are first class. All the actors in this film gave an incredible performance. It is a harrowing film to watch at times because of the content but it is also uplifting and relevant. A piece of history that I was unaware of regarding the main character. Where was this film in the Oscars? RJC.

Beautfully filmed and superbly acted, but the movie is mentally torturous to watch. I had to fast forward a couple scenes as they were far too horrendous to watch, and I am not usually squeamish. I don’t watch video about WW2 unless it’s based on a true story as I’m not a great fan of fiction.This story once again shows the cruel and terrifying events that many ordinary people had to suffer during the evil period that the Nazis held people under their control. The bravery of Marcel and his co resistance colleagues showed getting so many Jewish orphans to a safe haven.It’s thought provoking and should make people think of our current situation and how the grip of power over a population can quickly escalate.
