Gourmet Hand Powered Chrome Coffee Grinder with Latch Secured Canister

Does what I want! If I want a coarser grind I adjust it with a Tbs. of beans, if not right no "big" loss or waste to try again after readjusting. Easy to figure out for me when I first assembled it. I like not having glass but if you want to grind a whole pound you get fatigued holding it. Grinding less keeps it fresher. Once in a while you'll probably want to clean it. It can be done but pay attention to the instructions. you can't put the burrs or the wood in a dishwasher. I really like a larger grind so it works for me, hope it'll work for you.

Just received this product and cannot wait to return it. This flimsy grinder might work better if I knew more about using it but since there are not instructions, either shipped with the product or online, I will never know. As it is the grind is either too fine or way too coarse. Also, the jar is very clumsy because the grinder remains attached.

As you can see from the product pictures, this is very nice looking grinder, and it’s quite large - the container is a slight bit larger a KRUPS expresso carafe. The grinder handle is long and large, so it’s quite easy to grind your coffee beans. I was able to grind enough for a 1 liter press fairly quickly. As mentioned by others, the container is not glass, but an acrilyc material. That didn’t really bother me too much. And I found it pretty simple to clean - all you need is a soft little brush to clean the grinder and a damp paper towel to wipe the container - the same way I would clean an electric grinder.The way that the grinder is attached to the container is definitely a problem because once the coffee is ground, you can't just turn over the container and dump the contents into the press because inevitably, a few beans are going to be stuck in the grinder so you have beans and grinds bouncing around on the counter. I guess one solution would be to spoon out the coffee, but since my press is one liter large, that seems like a bit too much work for an efficiency minded (or super lazy) person like me.The grinder and container do come apart, but it’s not easy - I’m including a picture of the pieces taken apart, so you can see. You have to pinch the piece that’s connected to the grinder pretty hard to remove it from the holes that connect it to the container - and you have to pinch hard again to put it back on. It seems that a screw top would have been a much easier and better option. Because it’s a hassle to do this, I can’t really see myself using this grinder a whole lot. Not what I was hoping for but, I’ll just have the beans pre-ground or use the Keurig.

Works great and it's easy to adjust it. The only problem is that it got a crack just a few weeks from using it.

Works great!! Only thing is, that it is not stable, I didn’t think about this before purchasing. Probably would have gone with one that has a stand but this works just as well and I’ve been using it for a long while now!

This product is exactly as stated. Bought this coffee grinder as show piece, so can't comment on it's functionality as a grinder. Nice addition to my kitchen. Looks great! Thank you
