Thorogood Mens American Heritage 1957 Series - Flyway Waterproof 8" Moc Toe

Got these for my son who lives in Lake Tahoe, with lots of extreme weather. He tells me that these are just about the best work boots he's ever had (and he's 46). Extremely comfortable from the day he first put them on, and the waterproofing is great. While advertised as hunting boots, they'll work great in snow as well.

Quality, comfort, and great traction in a variety of conditions, including mowing wet grass.Honestly, these boots looked so great out of the box that I was reluctant to use them for working in the yard and wrenching on the old Jeep in the garage. Got a few battle scars now but these boots are still looking great and so comfortable!Oh yeah, and Made in USA!Highly recommend.

Best boots anyone can wear while at work. My husband is a roofer and need them for work, he loves them and raves that they are so comfortable and last for years. These boots have no steel toe but cost more than the ones with steel toe. WORTH IT

These are nice boots. They fit well right out of the box. They also have a good look, almost as much you hesitate to take them into to field. I worked in the steel industry and a utility worker in my 48 year working career and wore boots everyday. I’ve owned all the major brand names you can think of and these meet or exceeded all my expectations so far. Definitely would buy again.

I ordered this boot the week before leaving for a work assignment in the Ouatchita Mountains. I didn’t get the chance to properly break them in beforehand but I took the gamble anyways. These boots have impressed me more than I’d expected. I’m now 7 days into my timber detail, walking up steep slopes over huge rocks, and these boots have held up to the abuse.EDIT:8 months in, these boots have encountered briars, barbed wire, sharp sticks, and have THOROUGHLY impressed me. The sole is what takes the brunt of the impact and they have small gouges, however they’re extremely tough. The leather takes the brunt of briars and water and it has proven to be briar resistant as claimed. These boots have made me a believer, and I am sold. All I need is a sponsorship because the only thing that goes better with my mullet is an AMERICAN BOOT!!EDIT 2:One year in, these boots are still solid, worn every day, and have survived 6 weeks of climbing through tornado damaged timber. Buy these boots!!

Lovely boot, but I have big arse calves and ankles I guess. Or maybe these are the wrong Thorogood boot for me, must be the chicken leg edition. 🍗These don't envelope the tongue when laced, leaving socks exposed.My 5' 5" 115lb wife had the same problem when I had her try them, even though they're WAY too big for her... socks exposed.Never been an issue with other boots... Very unfortunate, I was very excited.Returning, and trying something else :-(

I work construction so boots are requires. This is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I have a narrow foot and other boots I have worn fit wider from the toe to the ankle, but this boot feels narrower and my foot does not slide from side to side.
