Eureka 3670M Canister Cleaner, Lightweight Powerful Vacuum for Carpets and Hard floors, w/ 5bags,Yellow

After retiring an exceptional 44 year Sharp canister vac, it was time to hunt for a new one.After exhaustive research, narrowed down the choices between this Eureka and a Soniclean canister vac.Our daughter just purchased the Soniclean and loves it.The Soniclean however keeps going up in cost (currently $279) while this Eureka is on sale currently for just $116. That’s a $163 difference!It’s the quitest vacuum I’ve ever been around besides the Soniclean.Extra long power cord which is very helpful.On board tools are minimal at best, but do the job. Nice that they are built-in instead of hanging off of the metal hose extension (like the Soniclean does and they always fall off).Main floor head could be thinner in height and wider in width like the Soniclean vac, so that the vacuum floor head slips under stoves & fridges to vacuum up crumbs and bits of food.The vacuum suction hose itself should be 2-3 feet longer as you are constantly tugging on the canister, especially when reaching out with longer arm strokes.The suction hose should also swivel at the canister connection point.Love that it has a larger capture bag with replacements easily found on Amazon and that it also has a HEPA exhaust filter. The exhaust blows straight up in the air from the top of the vac instead of straight out the back.The carry handle needs to be positioned directly over (above) the vacuum wheels, like on the Soniclean, as it makes picking up the vacuum and carrying it SO much easier than the low, front handle position currently on the vacuum.The suction is absolutely incredible! How can a vacuum be so quiet and have amazingly strong suction??While the Soniclean has a 3 foot longer power cord, an extremely quiet motor (same as Eureka) a better floor head and better placed carrying handle, the Eureka has built-in tools, a 26 foot power cord and for $163 difference I chose the Eureka vacuum.Just wished the Eureka had a longer vacuum hose that swiveled and a better floor head and a better positioned carry handle and it would be the PERFECT canister vacuum.Hey Eureka, you’re so close to perfection with this vacuum. Make the necessary changes and you’ll sell more vacuums!

The Eureka 3670M canister vacuum cleaner bears an uncanny (pun intended) resemblance to the vintage red Dirt Devil Can Vac of the 1980's and '90's. We have owned three of these Dirt Devils: one eventually wore out. One remains on the boat and the other is still in use at the house although the motor bearings are beginning to make noise and I fear the end is near for it after 30 years of service. So we bought this new Eureka. We love it. Like the old Dirt Devil this vacuum uses a traditional paper vacuum cleaner bag. We both hate the filthy "bagless" vacuums made during the last decades. The Eureka bag is a bit larger than the old Dirt Devil bag. In other comparisons with the Dirt Devil the Eureka is lighter in weight, has more powerful suction and is less noisy while running. The floor tool is great for carpets and hard floors. The ergonomics are inspired by the classic Dirt Devil but much improved making it easier to handle at floor level or while hand-held. The hose rotates at the canister end to avoid kinking. The accessories store nicely on the canister. Operates on household AC so there are no worries about battery fires. We love this Eureka canister vacuum.

I've always paid $300+ for bagless vacuums but my house stayed dusty because the bagless vacuums don't keep dirt and dust particles INSIDE the vacuum. I randomly found this Eureka vacuum while searching on Amazon so I decided to try a canister vacuum that uses bags and it is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! I really can't say enough - this vacuum is so powerful it literally suctions my area rugs and I have to turn the slide piece to open the hole and release the carpet. That's one really cool feature, it has this little slide on the handle that blocks an air hole so when you need more suction, close it and less suction, just open it!I vacuum the whole entire house, wood floors, baseboards, carpet, tile - ALL OF IT! We have 2 dogs that are 100 pounds, they have short hair but they shed like crazy. I'm not joking, I can vacuum and when the dogs run through the house you can see the hair flying everywhere because they like to shake when they get IN the house. I do change the bag every other time I vacuum because there's so mach dang hair and sand but this amazing vacuum sucks up every single thing on the floor and cleans our baseboards like you wouldn't believe. I can pick the vacuum up and carry it all over the house with ease and I even bought a box of generic vacuum tools at Walmart that fit it.I slap the brush attachment on and clean all of the wall details, tops of books, shelves, ceiling fan, under furniture and behind the washer and dryer, I use it to clean literally everything in the house. Dust can't hide! Fur doesn't stick to our couch! I even take it outside to get the dog hair out of my car backseat and it gets all of the dirt out of my car better than a car wash vacuum. I'm not kidding - this is the greatest vacuum of all time. I actually enjoy vacuuming the whole house, it's so easy now and doesn't take long to speed through cleaning! Also, I buy the off brand replacement bags and they work perfectly.

Cant afford the Miele so this by far is the best and I clean for a living so I've come across a few vacuums... Only issue I have is the plastic hose on my 1st buy broke and I taped it till I gave up and tried a different model but that lasted a year before it shut down ...just bought this for the 2nd time but now I know I can replace the hose if it breaks again cause I rather do that. .. This vacuum is super strong the suction is AMAZING I just don't like the hoses...when you put it away make sure the hose is not in a sharp bent position or it could crack...
