I've always read that only natural fibers breath and because of that, I've always stuck to cotton cover with cotton fill or cotton cover with down fill. Well, our last blanket (which we will keep because of how unspeakably expensive it was...) was cotton and down, and we would wake up several times per night, just glazed in a coat of sweat. I Googled "best blanket for hot sleepers and this was unanimously the winner on multiple review sites. I'm so thankful that I trusted these reviews and went against my "synthetics can't breath" theory that was drilled into my head. Not only have we not woken up once because it was too hot, but it keeps us perfectly warm when it's cold in the room. Just today, I took a nap and it was cold in there so I put the blanket over my head, fully expecting to have to take my head out to breath in a few moments... but that "I'm just breathing in my own hot breath and about to suffocate" feeling, never came. The air exchange is so good, I slept completely under the blanket for at least a half hour and had one of the best naps of my adult life. Another perk is that the warmth to stuffing ratio is really small. When the box arrived, I had to double check that I had ordered the right size. Some people may not like this but I think it's great; it will take up less space when stored and I can wash it in my home washer.

We purchased this comforter hoping it would provide some cooling properties during the summer nights. We keep our home cool during the nights but we were still looking for additional cooling.We like the product because it is very soft and very lightweight but think this it is more to keep people warm but not overheat during the winter months.We're looking forward to using it when our temperatures finally cool down. We're pretty sure it'll keep us warm but not overheat us as the nights start to cool down in Arizona.

This duvet insert is the perfect thickness to have a good appearance while allowing me to sleep without bring hot. I bought 2 of these for beds in 2 houses.

I was afraid it would not be warm enough as it is so light weight, however, it is perfect!! Not too cold or hot! Wow!!! I got the pillowcase and flannel sheets too. Heaven!!

If you are looking for a lightweight blanket that is warm but not overly so, then this is the product for you. Perfect for my needs as a non-down/feather insert for a duvet cover. Added plus: it has corner ties on the inside. Especially like that it lays flat, not lumpy/fluffy.

I had gotten a Slumber Cloud throw that was just wonderful, so I wanted to get a blanket from the same company. I ordered the twin comforter and was so looking forward to getting it. How disappointing it was when it arrived. Instead of the soft material and plush back like the throw I received a crappy cotton comforter. The edges weren’t even finished nicely but just serged together. Definitely not a $129 comforter. Needless to say it’s going back tout suite.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and her boyfriend as a housewarming gift and they absolutely love it. She said the quality was outstanding and that it was warm and cooling at the same time. I purchased a duvet cover separately to go over it for added color and to keep it cleaner. I think I need one for me and my husband now!!
