A lovely book to look at and read - the only downside was that I had to wait several weeks after its advertised publication date before Amazon was able to send me a copy.

An absolutely ravishing book, filled with the most beautiful and well-chosen photographs to illustrate the great scholarship that lies behind it.

Gave this to a friend for his birthday - he draws and paints as a good amateur and much appreciated the book for the styles.
