I wanted to install a Gravity Dropper Classic seatpost, which was designed for a 27.2 seatpost tube. However, my Yeti ASR 5 26" MTB's aluminum frame has a seatpost tube with an larger I.D. than that.The 27.2mm dimension is typical of most dropper seatpost models from various manufacturers.Precisely machined. Nice finish on it. Works well.

Did not fit, dimensions are off, it got stuck half way in and I had to damage it to get it out...I had to cancel my return because of the damage. I bought a 30.9 seat post at a much higher cost and it did fit perfectly.27.2 to 30,9 shim is not accurate so beware. You could try a smaller size than you think you need but then it’s a guess!
