Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
First off, before you hit purchase, beware that even though this is listed as "shipped from and sold by Amazon," this doesn't have the normal return policy. This package arrived banged up, the pieces were scratched, and the package was missing a critical piece. When I attempted to return it, it said I would have to go through the manufacturer. What?! The precise reason I order through Amazon is to not have to deal with third parties.So I contacted the manufacturer and what felt like an eternity later, the missing part arrived. And it BARELY arrived. It was so poorly packaged, I grabbed the package from the mailbox and the piece fell right out of the bottom of the cheap envelope, which had torn in transit.Tonight I went to assemble the rack, and the piece that was shipped was itself defective! I could screw four of the five legs to the two connector pieces, but when I tried to put the last screw in, it would not fit through the hole of the connector piece! I looked at the hole, and it's visibly misshapen. The whole product is flimsy. If you pick it up, the legs wobble back and forth. I would be reluctant to put more than a couple coats on this thing because it feels like it'll tip over at any moment.This is a horribly low-quality product, a pain in the butt to assemble, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Stay away from this product/company.

Finally no more coats, hats & scarves on every chair in my dining room. this thing is so pretty it will even look great without coats and such on there!

Definitely one of my favorite (unnecessary) purchases to date. Convinced my husband that we needed a coat rack, only to yell at him every time he hangs his coat on it. I mostly liked the aesthetics, which is what made me want it. However, when you use it for it’s intended purpose, it takes away from its appeal…sooooo I basically use it as a work of art. Coats in the closet!
