High quality speaker.
The 150 is a high quality Denon speaker, with excellent connectivity. It has a traditional Denon sound with modern innerds. It looks smart and is small and unobtrusive, ideal for a smaller room or kitchen etc. It is not able to produce sterio as a single unit, but is still very capable. The installation is pretty good and doesn't require you to reconfigure your entire system, unlike some other units software does. Personally, I think the software on all brands is a bit arcane and clunky, but the HEOS is probably the best of the lot for non-tech users. I could have lived with the 150, but eventually I returned it and now have a pair of 250 in a stereo set up and is working very well indeed.

Decent, but a lot of faffing about. You need the whole setup to appreciate
Edited 05/02/2023 now added the Home subwoofer. This is now a completely different system. If you really want to experience a sound system to rival Home cinema. You need the Home sub woofer; it takes everything to the next level.Decent speakers, my set up is a denon soundbar 716 sound bar, *2 speakers.I have to admit, going from a wired System to a Wireless you notice the difference straight away. The sounds from Wired is incomparable, I don’t care what anyone says.Wireless is good as you don’t have all the wires so you have freedom but sound no way. You must be a technomaniac or or oblivious to say wireless is better than wired.I have noticed some latency very small but I’m critical like this. You never get this with wired but as a conclusion.I am happy with the set up.Need to order a subwoofer to complete the set up, but it’s costing serious money to get a wireless system. Compared to other wireless systems? Not going to mention any Brands Denon Is highly superior, not just saying that because I have it. It’s just a fact.I’ve heard the difference and yeah, other brands, sorry you have a lot of catching up to do. It’s like a 5 year old against Ussain bolt, no contest. You’re doing well but believe me, you are not even close to the game. Nothing against you but I’ve heard the expensive £500+ but still it’s tinny and crap.If you think otherwise you must be delusional, the Denon is well far superior. The denon has a decent weight to speakers, this lets you know there are quality components inside. I’ve seen these light weight brands, believe me. They are light weight because they’re hollow crap. Don’t sell it as light weight before functionality. You’ll notice this straight away when you turn the bass up. Light means well rubbish !If I can mark the Denon out of 10, it would be 6.5 or 7. It’s not quiet there but thereabouts. Yes I have it and it’s cost me close to £1200 pounds and I don’t have a subwoofer yet. It’s good and no complaints. My Cars B&O system is far superior to the denon though. B&O 600W mind blowingThe plus points are, no wires so distance in a room is excellent. The bass without subwoofer is acceptable, compared to others? Honestly there is no comparison. You have to hear differences. You will notice after 15 seconds & think is this a joke ?Denon good job but you need to try harder mate

great for kitchen and multi-room use
Sounds great, nice to have controls on the top. HEOS app has just had a refresh and is a bit slicker than it used to be but still takes a bit of getting used to.Bought for kitchen radio and multi room with a Denon hi-fi - works great, perfectly synced and easy to group/un-group in the app.Negatives:- preset buttons forget BBC stations after a day or two - unique to BBC according to Denon support and no solution offered.- true smart functionality really only with Alexa - Google assistant integration is very limited to changing volume/tracks etc.Would certainly consider another one for other rooms.

Typical Denon, really good design that's easy to use
The media could not be loaded. I've tried several smart speakers in the effort to replace my Echo Dot with something more beefy sounding. This was easily the best of the bunch in its price range. It's small yet powerful. The sound quality is easily up there with the best in this category. It's not too bass heavy, but has plenty of body. My wife absolutely loves the touch sensitive controls that light up when you move near them. For me, I liked how easily I was able to set this up with Alexa. As it uses Heos, and not it's own app, it made it a breeze to be up and running. Some of the other brand speakers were near impossible.Another good point was the Wi-Fi signal range. Some other speakers completely failed at the same distance that this easily performs.I honestly have no cons for this speaker. It's a keeper.
