WowWee 8405 Roborover

This robot was fun for a few days and after that he's been on a shelf and gets played with every few months. Our "auto find" never worked properly (at all). Toy is very well made (other than the auto find)... and appears to be very durable but it's limited and very repetitive. I wouldn't rate as a "don't buy"... because your child my love this robot. Just wasn't the right toy for us.Gave a 3 on educational value (vs. 1 or lower) because the remote has been good for learning right/left & forward/backward... other than that educational value is 0.

As my name says, I collect toy robots. This is another great one from WoWee. It has a cutsie personality like Tribot has and would be fun for kids. I display mine...not play with them, but they are always fun the first few days when you figure out what they do. Unfortunately, after that, it gets on the shelf in full display. I am sure a kid would love this. A far cry from the greats like the Attacking Martian, but still fun.

Not as good or enjoyable as i thought for my son - he got bored with it very quickly - does and says the same thing - not much variety -

We purchased this robot for our son's 4th birthday. He'd been asking for a robot for Christmas or his birthday. I did some research on robots and found these WowWee robots. I showed him the little video clips of the robots in action on Amazon. He was super excited and kept asking to watch them over and over. He was so excited when he got this one for his birthday. He plays with it often and keeps it up in a special place to "keep it safe" from his 2 year old brother. He laughs at the funny things the robot says and likes to play with it in dark rooms where he can see the headlights working. I think the age rating is for a little older kids but he figured out how to run the remote control very quickly on his own. Great toy!

This was the big hit of Christmas. Easy to use and very entertaining. I have it to my five year old grandson and his nine year old brother was jealous. It appears to be a boy's toy, however, because their senven year old sister wanted nothing to do with it.

This was a great product and my 8 year old grandson loved it. He liked all the features and the speaking portion too!I will say it took 3 adults to get the toy out of the packaging. That was fun too; at least for we adults.

Never worked properly

This is our second WooWee Robot and we love it! I play with it as much as my son! Last year we got Tirbot! Great toys! Great prices! Fast shipping! We had just watched "Jingle All The Way" when I asked my husband if he had picked up the Roborover -- of course he had not. This was just after Black Friday. I immediately went to the internet--every store was sold out! So I thougt I'd check Amazon. They really came through!

A GREAT TOY - EXCEPT FOR ONE THING - WE WERE SENT A VERSION THAT SPOKE GERMAN!!! BY THE TIME IT HAD BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE BOX BY OUR EXCITED SON, WITH ALL ALL THE PACKAGING BEING PULLED APART IN THE PROCESS!, IT WAS TOO LATE TO SEND IT BACK. SO IF YOU ARE GETTING ONE FROM AMAZON, MAKE SURE THEY SEND YOU ONE THAT SPAEKS THE LINGO!!!

ist cool aber nicht für kinder mit adhs geeignet, die arme waren noch 3 wochen beide abgebrochen, ansonsten geht das teil super gut, mein kind ist 4 jahre alt und hat viel freude

Wir sind sehr enttäuscht von dem Spielzeugroboter. Er steht bei uns in der Ecke. Er lernt nicht dazu. Die Sprüche gehen einen mit der Zeit auf die Nerven. In einem normalen Kinderzimmer stehen zu viele Dinge, die ihn verwirren, so dass man ihn besser auf einer leeren großen Fläche bedienen sollte. Im Preisvergleich war er doch recht teuer und ist daher sein Geld auf keinen Fall wert.

Ich freute mich rießig über das günstige Angebot wurde nach Erhalt aber sofort enttäuscht da der Roboter nicht deutsch sprach.So musste ich auf ein anderes Weihnachtsgeschenk zurückgreifen.
