Button Fix Type 2 Bracket with Upgraded Button x10 + 1 Marker Tool

The media could not be loaded. The Button Fix Type 2 Bracket with Upgraded Button x10 + 6 Marker Tools was used during a recent bath panel installation. Its innovative design not only simplified the process (no more measure, mark and best guess drilling) but also showcased its robust strength. The installation, which was initially a concern, turned out to be remarkably simple, saving me substantial time (panel took 5 mins to install and is now ready to accept tiles). Impressed by its performance, I've decided to utilise them again for an upcoming wall panel project. The pack size of 10 upgraded buttons and 6 markers allowed me to install simultaneously with spare buttons. The fixings hold snug and firm but can be removed with a good pull, I suspect they will last for years even if with daily use.One minor gripe would be that screws are not included, I guess because of the varying nature of applications. You can see that in my instance the screws are slightly too long. Not an issue this time as the panel will be tilled but wouldn’t be good if the final finish meant your could see them.

the beauty of these brackets is that everything is hidden behind the panel , easy to install when you get your head round it and suggest you watch youtube installion video on your first installation . The marker tool is a clever idea and the marks it left were bang on .

I’m refitting a radiator cover I built a few years back and these buttons are just perfect. Before I’d attached the cover with brackets screwed to the wall, but this made the cover difficult to remove if I wanted to bleed the radiator, or just clean it.Now I can attach and remove the cover with ease. The brackets are tough - I can tell these will last years.Thanks again for an excellent product, well worth the money!

These fixings and others from this brand are some of the best you’ll find, easy to fit, very durable . Used these ones for fitting of a bath panel.

Having bought a pack of 10 button-fix type 2 I fail to understand why only one marker tool is supplied. The you tube instructions show one attached to each button to allow for easy marking of the panel to be fixed. I found this task extremely difficult to perform on my own with only one marker tool! I spoke to the technical side of Button-fix who say it is a peculiarity of Amazon and eBay! Button-fix have advised them both that there should be a marker for each button. Please can you sort this out to prevent other frustrated customers and to stop giving Button-fix a bad reputation! The product itself is excellent but Amazon needs to ensure their sellers are supplying the correct amount of marking tools in their kits.

These little devices remove the guesswork of aligning and fixing a panel, that you may wish to remove at a later date, for access. I purchased two brackets with one marker device but in hindsight I recommend spending a very little more and purchase two marker devices. It will make the marking process much easier, as both sides can be marked in one go.I used a rubber hammer to knock the panel, so the marker device created the indents to show where the other brackets had to be fixed.Very good value for money
