it's good to share my experience that may benefit others
I don't normally write many reviews, but since I found the reviews others have taken the time to write very helpful, it's good to share my experience that may benefit others.I suffer from an acute case of plantar fasciitis brought on by excessive activity & standing for long periods of time on a concrete floor without a pad. I have VERY HIGH ARCHES which exacerbates the problem. I would call myself athletic as working out is an impotent part of my life. You could say I occasionally overdo it.After buying 4 different types of shoe inserts, this 1 was found to be THE BEST! The support is excellent. Wearing these insoles has minimized the pain better than any of the other insoles I purchased. Was so happy with these I got a second pair. If you have high arches & are suffering from PF or are trying to avoid getting it, these insoles are the support your feet need.

Do they come in dress shoe width?
These have been phenomenal.Quick observations:Hard Bottom (holds up really well)VERY light-weightFlexible (easy to change which shoes they are in)These seem to mold to the shape of your foot. Which is perfect.I wish these were a little less wide so I could get a pair for my dress shoes...I have very expensive custom orthotics that have actually changed the shape of some of my shoes because they are so ridged. And they are a NIGHTMARE to get in and out of my shoes. These slip in easy enough and come out when they need to. But they ALSO support my feet the way I need. (On my feet for 8+ hours a day... Door to door salesman)Not only would I recommend these, I'd totally buy them again. My first pair have lasted 18 months and still counting.

Amazing!!!
What an interesting and unusual design characterizes this product, not quite like any I've seen before, and does it ever work for me (and I have big bunions, a very low arch, and not much natural cushioning left in my feet)! Although it felt odd when I first tried it in a Keen Voyager hiking boot (I do a LOT of hiking), it also somehow felt good! The "odd" sensation went away within mere minutes; the "good" sensation persisted for my entire walk. And the beat goes on! I have now used the product in several shoes that I wear for different purposes, getting excellent results over roughly 20 miles walked in the last week. Certainly I hope this success continues, and it seems that may be a good possibility as the product appears to be very well made.As usual, buying the product through Amazon was an easy and predictably good experience. Shipping was right on the mark, too, so I'm a pretty well-pleased customer. And, yes, I do plan to purchase another set of these footbeds... ASAP!

Over Promised, Under Delivered.
I have to agree with others that the Metatarsal support is extremely prominent although this was not my entire issue.I found that they provided little if any actual support to my arch considering these were specifically for "low" (flat footed) arch feet. In fact, my arch continued to completely collapse into the sole of the shoe.I had very high hopes for these insole replacements based not only on other reviews, but from the manufacturers web site. Unfortunately they did not deliver for me. Another moderate inconvenience is that these are somewhat oversized and need to be trimmed to fit properly into an athletic shoe unless placing in a boot.To be fair, I believe that everyone's foot profile is different and that what may not work for one will certainly work for another as validated by those that have had a more positive experience with this brand and design. For me, I have had better success with the Spenco Total Support Max, Footminders Comfort Orthotic, and the Profoot Plantar Fasciitis Orthotics.

very happy with these inserts
I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic a couple of years ago. I bit the bullet and purchased all the of best shoes, and best inserts. in doing this I wanted to see for myself what worked best. out of the inserts, these rated in the top two for me. I know each person is different, so one must make their own decisions on what works best for them. the shame is buying online, is not being able to try products live before purchasing. with that being said, my top two inserts, worked better in certain shoes than others, so that is another time trial that has to be performed while trying to make a decision to keep or not. I am about ready to order another pair of these. I have had over a year, and still perform well., just ordering more for the sake of getting tired of taking in and out of all of my shoes. I am flat footed. I wear a 13. I am 6 feet male. and weight about 205 lbs. I am not hard on shoes, I work in a office environment.
