The cost of shipping and handling otherwise the cost of the cookies itself was worth every penny and then some..yummy...

My wife's Sicilian grandmother passed away in the mid 1990s. My wife says she thought she'd never again taste her grandmother's Christmas cookies and when she ate these it brought her right back to her childhood. The taste is incredible. She says the only difference is her grandma used to put white sugar icing and sprinkles on hers and sometimes used mincemeat and apricot filling as well as fig. But we would definitely buy these again. Worth the expense. Arrived fresh as if just delivered from the bakery even though we're in WA State and they came on a UPS truck cross country. A great experience. Thank you.

I really don’t know. I just thought last years Cookie’s were fresher

I thought these were like St Joseph alter cookies, but was more like cake my raccoons may like them. 40 bucks for gross mess

Absolutely delicious. Warm them up a bit to help them from being too crumbly, especially if you aren’t sharing them around the table.I think the shipping is high, but would be easier to accept if they raised the price on the cookies and lowered the shipping cost

Cookies brought me back to my childhood. Absolutely delicious, just like homemade like my Sicilian mother used to make. Sorry fig Newtons, no comparison, mostly fig and not sugar. Pastry delicious. Thank you

Took three days to arrive, would NOT have been happy if it had taken longer!!! But they are DELICIOUS!!!
