I haven't been able to find real Schaeffer K ballpoint pen refills at any local office supply stores and they don't seem to be able to order them, either. One store sold me generic K ballpoint pen refills but they were extremely unreliable. I was thrilled to find these on Amazon and haven't had any problems with them.

...to discover that I couldn't just walk into a big-box store any longer and find refills for the beloved Sheaffer pen my mom bought for me in 1968 when I graduated from elementary school. Thanks to Amazon I now have some again!

My wife bought me a nice Sheaffer pen decades ago, and it ran out of ink a long time ago. These were the only ink refills I could find that fit it. I wish I could find black ink, but the blue will do for now. I just didn't expect to pay $5 each for these things. But they do what the say they do. They fit my old pen perfectly and they write very smoothly and seem to be exactly what I was looking for.

The price was right for this item. And I received them pretty quickly.

I consider this item overpriced but I'm unwilling to replace my pen cartridge with a no name brand cartridge. The ink is blue but the shade of blue is not as dark a blue as my old refill. I actually prefer the newer shade.

I got this pen in 1988 and I'm happy they still sell ink for this present to me. I got the pen when I made my Eagle scout. And it means a lot to me. And knowing they still sell ink for it makes me very happy.
