classic good services sent the movie out

This movie features a lot of rappers on Roc-a-fella records (Jay-Z' label, he makes a cameo too) and/or other music celebrities. The (fictional) movie takes place in Philly, in the hood & speaks on "Beanz" (Beanie Sigel) life as he grew up & got into the drug game. He establishes himself as the lead drug-lord in his neighborhood and as he tries to expand, he runs into problems with another dealer, "Dame" (Dame Dash) and that's where things go wrong. This is the first of two films, with the storyline (State Property 2). Titled "State Property" because it's the story told by Beanz from behind bars, about how he ended up in jail.The filming isn't exactly Hollywood quality (it is a low budget made film), but it's not as crappy to say it's a "bootleg". It's decent for what it is and who it was produced by. A good watch for a chill night, I've watched it multiple times & it's still interesting and funny.4/5 stars because it's not perfect but still good.

great movie

If you're looking for an old skool, grimey, gritty, C-List acting gangster movie than this is it. I doubt it'll speak to this newer generation of youngsters but this is still one of my top favorite movies and i'm 40. "You either get down, or you lay down #ABM" 😂

This is a good gangster film.It has some real street quality to it that makes you love it if you like urban/gangster films.The leading role was played by beanie sigel.Sigel did a outstanding job of playing a ruthless street hustler named beans.This movie was put together very well and is pretty enjoyable for a movie that doesn't have a very big budget.

State Property was a flick my homeboys and I would watch. Shouting out the legends aspiring to be what Siegel, Jay, and Dame were. Its the Roc baby! In my eyes this flick will forever be a classic.

Glad I got this one and part 2

If you have ever been around these type of things then the movie is realistic and enjoyable. The budget could have been bigger but the made good with what they had to work with. Great watch.

To put it simple this film is so bad that you should watch it, think of it as the really bad street fighter film so bad it's brialliant.the boys at the roc can't act and this is more of a milking of the franchise, as far as i am concerned the only member of rocafella at that time who could act was Cam'ron and he is not in this film.Jay-z is not seen much in this film so Jigga fans won't be to happy.the story line is a rags to ghetto riches and is predictable but what is not these days?Get the film for the old school Rocafella feel and laughs at truly bad acting, this is one of those £3.00 films not worth anything more.

One of the better gang movies that I have seen, that has been made in the 21st century. The acting is good considering that most of the cast have probably never acted before this movie and the story is inspired by a real gang called JBM ( Junior Black Mafia ). This movie is very entertaining and has something happening all throughout. The only down side to this movie is that you do not really see the bullet holes appear until after they are dead and lying on the ground. 9/10

Looked high and low for this as someone stole my copy have to say not as same as original as some bits are cut out
