Great headphones for the money (and I already have a pair of $300 Bose, so I know about quality)
I'll go ahead and give these headphones 5 stars (despite the fact the noise cancelling function isn't all that great, as has been noted by others). HOWEVER, the remaining features make them worth the 5 stars. First, I bought the tan and gold phones and they're BEAUTIFUL. They look like I spent a ton more money on them than they actually cost. Second, the buttons work great and there are audible tones in the phones to indicate what the phones are doing relative to pairing / on / off, etc. Love that. Third: SOUND QUALITY IS EXCELLENT! I am very happy with the sound quality of these phones (with n/c in the off position). Now, here's the kicker. I own a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones which I bought for close to $300 - so, when I compare the noise cancelling of Diskin to Bose, you must realize the Bose phones cost 6 times more. However, note that the *sound quality* of the Diskin phones, with the n/c off, is every bit as good, if not even *better* than my Bose phones. For $50 bucks, the Diskin phones deliver great quality. Now, mine just arrived so - it yet remains to be seen how they hold up under constant use. (My Bose phones I have worn out over 3 years). But, hey, for $50, it's a lot easier to buy an extra set of these Diskins than it is for my Bose QC 15 phones!!! And one last thing: My Bose don't work without a cord, which gets in the way constantly. The Diskins are cordless / bluetooth, which is why I bought them. (I should note, I haven't tried them for a phone call yet - but my primary focus is music and *audio books).* I'm really looking forward to going through my day without getting tangled in a cord which gets pulled out of my Bose phones all the time when I accidentally catch it on something!!! (The Diskins do provide a back up cord for if the battery gets too low for the Bluetooth to function). I have had a TON of differing blue tooth products. I suspect the phone call microphone will work just fine in a normal environment. It yet remains to be seen how easily I will be heard while driving one of my old pick up trucks while blasting air conditioning or with the windows open. My experience is you have to have a pretty advanced noise cancelling mic to have a shot at being understood with back ground noise. We will see. I will try to update this review regarding this at a later time if possible.

Best of the lot.
Killer looks. Sound is smooth, clean, clear, with good bass. Bass is neither bloated nor punchy. Bassheads will not like but all else will. Approaches high end units.. The headphones were broken in with 60 hours of play time before review or evaluation as it should be for ANY headphone reviewed as the sound changes much for the better with breakin. A good cheap upgrade is to replace the signal cord with a good brand name high end cord. It will clear up the conjested sound. The supplied cord is only ok at best. Don't be fooled by it's looks. The cloth in front of the speaker element was NOT removed as the sound in the higher frequencies were very present with no vail..A few negatives though. I have a large head and found the headband a bit small. The noise cancelling IMHO, is nothing more than a digital amplifier. The sound quality goes UP when activated. The foam rings are to small and don't go around the outside of the ears.. Normally this is an OK design but not for noise cancelling. You can hear a noisy and large amount of WIND whispping through the foam rings. The Bluetooth functions work as advertised. Well all of them but the sound quality which goes downhill when in use. The headphone design appears to be the same as units as the pioneer, Puro Sound, Bohm and one other which was the cheapest of the lot.Although not quit as silky smooth but certainly very very good for the money. Very well made too.. One of the best for under $50.

So Far: Exceeding Expectations
This is my first review ever. I am writing it in response to an email that came from the company responding to multiple complaints that the headphones would not pair with their devices. The email said that in every instance the owner simply did not hold the Bluetooth button long enough. My first thought was uh oh! While the headphones were a great price, if they are finicky about pairing, then I'm going to be sending them back. I had no need to worry! These are spectacular headphones! They look just like the picture. The packaging was world-class. In just a few short minutes before holding the pairing button until the pairing light flashed rapidly I paired with my iPhone 6S, iPad Mini 4, and my HP NOTEBOOK. I tried them out listening to iTunes, Pandora, Spotify and Amazon music. Wow! I used the noise cancelling feature this morning while washing clothes. It made a huge difference. In short: I am as satisfied with these as I am with the 300.00 JBLs (over the ear) I purchased in January. These Diskins met and exceeded my expectations. Time will tell if they are sturdy to travel (why I bought them in the first place because the JBLs are clunky large) and if the battery life remains strong. One way or another I'm going to write a follow-up in a couple of months. If they do and the price stays the same, they are a remarkable bargain.

ANC Causes Audible Static on 2 different pair
I wanted to love these headphones. Great look. Great sound for the price. Amazing. I purchased them for a long flight and gave the noise-cancelling feature a test run. After about 30 minutes or so one of the headphones started popping and crackling (audible sounds in the speaker) but was fine without the ANC feature on. Hoping it was just a lemon pair, I was dumb enough to exchange it for the same kind. Same problem on the other side.Bottom line: If you want Bluetooth and something very comfortable (they were comfy for both mine and my hubby's heads - small and big) and don't care about Active Noise Cancelling, these are amazing!!! If part of the reason you are getting them is for the ANC, then stop and don't waste your money. I will be returning my second pair. :(

Bought in 2016 and still love them
Bought these headphones back in the spring of 2016 for a great deal less than similar headphones. I don't use the noise cancellation feature very much--so I don't know how it compares--but the Bluetooth has always paired well with all my devices, including my newer laptop (from 2019). Comfortable and good sound quality still. Lost them so I was hoping to get another pair just like.
