I used this book to teach a lesson in the math class I am taking. It worked very well. My fellow classmates, soon to be teachers, all loved the book. It is really great in teaching base ten . I can't wait to use this book in a classroom, or even with some of the kids in my family. This book is so cute and offers the reader the ability to teach while reading the book.

Nice story to explain subtraction

Great way to teach regrouping in a fun way that brings in a story line and content. Had to get both additions and subtraction, in love with this series

I ordered this book for my second grade students who were struggling with subtraction with regrouping. They really enjoyed the story, especially the ending! I think it is a nice way to teach regrouping and a great way to stray away from the paper-pencil methods. Excellent story and concept!!!!
