Halo Microchip Scanner Black,135mm Durchmesser X 33mm

I use the mini microchips on my pets and in the past my vets scanner had a hard time reading them. I didn't know if it was an issue with the microchips or the scanner being used. I bought this to be sure and it picked up the microchips fast! I wasn't even very close to them, maybe a foot away. It beeped quickly. It also charges nicely. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Definitely recommend it. It can come in handy if I find a lost pet, too.

This microchip scanner is wonderful! I opened the box when it arrived and started scanning my cats! It worked! However, I realized that two of our cats weren’t chipped! Time for a vet appointment.I highly recommend this microchip reader/scanner.

Reads older 9-digit chips, definitely a winner for me, without paying $300+tax.

July 27, 2024. I have 5 dogs and all are chipped. This scanner read all but one of my dog's chip. I know for a fact she is chipped because she is from the National Yorkie Rescue group and her foster mom was present when the chip was inserted last August, 2023. Plus I have all the chip related paper work. Even if an older chip was possibly inserted, the scanner should at least indicate the presences of a microchip. So this is disappointing. Also I contacted the seller on the day I got it (July 17, 2024) to address the issue, but they have not gotten back to me.
