This is a great CD. I bought it while taking advanced Italian courses at university. The textbook used BRILLIANTLY gave us samples of current Italian music. You listen and purchase. Contemporary, cool music and compositions that allow you to 'LEARN AND PRACTICE' Italian EFFORTLESSLY while on your walk, jog or going through junk mail. I recommend to anyone learning Italian and wanting to keep ear "active"...best way to learn and master a foreign language.

I first heard A te on a flight to Germany in a mix of International songs. I hit the re-play button so many times that I nearly had it memorized by the time I got to Frankfurt. I speak Spanish rather than Italian but this song alone is worth the price of the CD. Bellisima!

I am a HUGE Jovanotti fan (and a fan of Italian music in general). being Italian-American, I embrace the music from both of my heritage(s). I was looking for this special XMAS edition for a long time, but ordering it from oversees would have run me well over $50. Thank goodness for Amazon! I got it for at leat half price in used but PRISTINE condition!

What can I say? This album is perfect. It's more mainstream than his other albums, but I think it's Jovanotti best second album after Buon Sangue. "Safari", "Temporale", "Dove Ho Visto Te", "Fango" and "Punto" are the highlights of the album. It has also been chosen as the best italian album of the decade and I think it totally deserves it."Sarafi" is upbeat and catchy without being one of those songs of which you get tired easily. "Temporale" is an updated version of Jovanotti's early rapping albums. The bandoneón and the lyrics of "Dove Ho Visto Te" make it the most romantic song I think you can ever dedicate to a person. "Fango" is an intimate ballad about forgiving, forgetting, moving on and living life to the fullest. "Punto"'s bossa nova arrangement makes this album eclectic without losing its cohesion.Bravo!

English speakers may miss half the fun with Lorenzo's records. His lyrics are pure poetry, so understanding what he is saying is key. But even if you don't understand Italian, some songs are great anyway. My favorites in this album are "Fango" and "Temporale".

impulse purchase after a friend made me a mix cd with "a te" on it, definitely the best new album i've heard in a while. it's one of those that don't need any songs skipped over. the lyrics are clever, but even if you don't speak italian, it's got a sweet vibe and beat to it. fav songs: "dove ho visto te", "in orbita"

The music is great but the words are pure poetry. Understanding of Italian is a must to really enjoy his music.

Jovanotti is such a superb artist! And this I think is his best album! I just love it. I can't stop playing it - except to put on the double CD collection "Backup" which I bought at the same time. Fantastic music! I love this guy.

Ho scoperto Jovanotti molto tardi grazie a questo disco, ascoltando prima "In orbita" alla radio. Da allora l'ho anche regalato in diverse occasioni, rimane un album cui sono molto affezionato e che ascolto con estremo piacere dall'inizio alla fine.

5 stelle senza problemi a questo lavoro di Lorenzo che, tra quelli che ho ascoltato, considero uno dei migliori. I singoli estratti sono fra i più belli del CD, un po' da dimenticare il rifacimento di "Una tribù che balla".

Se ci sono dischi che da soli potrebbero rappresentare la maturità di questo nostro artista questo è senz'altro uno dei migliori. Pieno di pezzi famosi, ed oggettivamente un bel disco
