Lose the Blanket, Linus! (Peanuts)

I got this book for my granddaughter who was having problems with her son "losing the blanket". He was almost 4 and in preschool so it was getting to be a problem. They read it to him ONCE (not saying this will happen, because after all I DO have the smartest great grandson in the world, HA). AND he actually put the blanket up (sadly of course) and said "okay, let's try this"..He made it for awhile and then asked that the book be read AGAIN as he needed "encouragement".... I'm sorry, I'm laughing now thinking about it. He is now 4 and "binky" free. WONDERFUL.

Just what we need to convince a 4 year old to release a constant companion blanket. Super cute illustration and story.

My son loves the peanuts gang, and he loves to read, and loves this book. He also, reads it to his 18 month old baby brother. So it was a hit all the way around. I'm looking for more books in this genre.

Well written book for any child but a great book for a child who is attached to his blanket. My grandson loved it.

My son loved this book about Linus and his blanket as he also walked around with his own blanket.

The book was described as very good condition which once i had wiped the grubby cover was accurate. I was very dissapointed though that there were a couple of stickers on the back with code numbers on and a price and on the inside cover there was another large sticker with information related to the seller of the book and its move from america to the UK. This didnt stop the book being fine for my family but if i had bought it for a gift it would have looked really grotty and clearly very 2nd hand. I would def thnk very carefully about buying a book like this again.

This story is not the one I had hoped to purchase about Linus needing to give up his blanket. I read another one similar to this, but they are quite a bit different. The book I read was in a thrift story and the last two pages were missing, so I ordered this one, but I like the other story better. I didn't think there would be more than one version of it.
