Very slim
I ordered this pack of two credit card multi-tool because I am putting together an emergency bag for my home. this is the perfect tool for emergency and is so compact you can practically put it anywhere. I gave the second one to my nephew who is in the boy scouts and he loves it. This is a great gift to anyone, I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs an emergency tool in their house or even their car.

Fun little survival tool
This "Upgraded Credit Card Tool Knife Set - Gifts for Men Multi-Tool Pocket Knife" is a fun little survival tool that will fit into any pocket, a larger wallet, or hung around your neck on the included cord (which is a little bit hard to thread thru the hole). You also put the included whistle on same cord. About the size of a credit card, and twice as thick. While not taking the place of a serious or even pocket survival kit, this little item could be a lifesaver if that's all you had. The whistle is the most important part, then the firestarter. Having a whistle and fire to signal for help and keep you warm is very important. The little knife and tool could be jhandy of you didnt have anything better, and since it takes up so little space, you might well have this and nothing else. The compass is so small to be almost useless, but it's there.

Missing parts, useless compass.
UPDATE: Bought these as gifts and unfortunately could not give them to their intended recipient so I decided to keep them for myself.I did not noticed that there were missing the toothpick fire starter and whistle. I initially thought it the missing ports were to attach the string they send. Also, the compass does not work at all.Would definitely not recommend.################These are heavy-duty, and although the case is plastic, has a sturdy well made materials.I did not know that two would come in the package which is a huge plus.################

Not Good and Too Expensive
I've always wanted to handle one of these. I expected them to be gimmicky but this is worse than imagined it'd be.One compass worked but the other was off quite a bit, although they are a little fast compared to some other button compasses. The magnifying glass is too small and dirty, not very usable anyways but it works. The whistle is kind of nice for its size but not part of the card. It would be great if a whistle was built into the card. The card will never fit in your wallet because of how thick it is, it is no credit card. The rulers should be on both sides. These could use a mirror or big magnifier to start fires. Why no built in flashlight like seen in key chains and keys? An LED could fit next to the tweezers. The toothpick and tweezers are great. The fire rod works nicely but can't be replaced and there are no extras, but it should last a good amount. The knife is nice but not sharp enough and I would consider moving the serrations near the tip had I made this, plus give it a better tip. It's just too small really to try going for both straight and serrated on one blade. The serrated blade can saw through cardboard real good so it might be good at woodwork. The hook isn't even mentioned but that looks like one of the set's most useful features. The black plastic on the bottle opener isn't fully flushed against the card and the tool doesn't lock into place. The bottle opener's claw isn't sharp enough for packages but it's okay, while the bottle opener's bottom doesn't look deep enough so opening items must be hard work with it, and the "seek survival" end is supposed to do what? The knife sharpener could have potential if it wasn't embedded deeper than the surrounding plastic. There could've been room for a door to store a fishing hook tied to fishing line, and a piece of tinder cloth. It's ironic that the seller uses a picture of someone fishing too. (I once caught like twenty brim as a kid using tangled fishing line and crouching by a canal because I thought it'd be funny to see if it would work, so you don't need a fishing pole, but you do need bread.) The overall black plastic structure is solid, too bad it's black instead of orange. The outside could've had a reflector built or taped onto it, or some useful text stamped in. Worst of all is that it is nearly $20 for this set. I would expect to find these at the dollar store, or at least one card and whistle for $1.If you already own these, you should still throw these into a camping backpack or hiking pocket anyways, but I would've stopped producing these years ago to improve the design and quality. I still like the survival cards but I could think of many design changes that would make them worth buying. They look like good gift ideas, but $20 can get you many greater things, like a full sized bushcraft knife, paracord, rug, lifestraw, camping food, hiking socks, etc. The price is completely outrageous the more I think about it and that's the main drawback. The materials used in this item are decent though, solid knife, so maybe I'll change one with my diamond file and strop it over 10k grit to get a super fine blade. If it's for emergencies, it may as well be really fine because this probably isn't going to have much edge retention either way and the steel is thick enough to be way sharper. The knife comes with an indent, hole, and hook. I can't believe the seller didn't at least advertise that the knife would make a find spear point for catching fish and rodents, although the point needs sharpened quite a bit to make this work better. It's well suited to be fitted onto a stick. In the end, I reduce a star for poor performance and remove two stars for the high price.

Very Cool, Simple Little Gift
This is a neat little tool that can fit in your wallet. It's not what I would call the highest quality, but it's still decent. The knife is a little difficult to remove, although I suppose that's better than it sliding out very easily as that could cause some sort of problem, I'm sure. This has enough small tools to be useful in a minor emergency. The firestarter is cool, and the whistle is really loud, but you do have to put some breath into it. This is definitely one of those things that guys like to get as presents, and since this is a two pack you can give one away and keep one for yourself. This is a nifty little tool that packs a lot of features into a space-efficient package, what's not to like?
