Looks and Feels Great
The handles are very solid and have a fluid, smooth feel when turning up/down. This also looks great in the shower and compliments the other Hansgrohe products. It's nice having a separate temperature and volume control so we are not having to tweak the temperature every time we get into the shower. As others said, it would be nice to have a more solid back plate, but it was really only noticeable when we held it before installation. Gets the job done and looks great at the same time. Would buy it again.

It's all about customer service
We just recently remodeled a bath and purchased products from Hansgrohe, Delta and American Standard. The only Hansgrohe product we ordered was this one. Like the other reviewer, I am not impressed with the plastic parts. Also, the item arrived missing the set screw for the top handle which means that we now have to wait for Hansgrohe to send us a set screw in order to use our new shower. Truthfully, you could CAREFULLY use the handle but run the risk of it falling off. Here's where customer service comes in. I am currently on hold with Hansgrohe and have been for the last 10 MINUTES. This is after waiting until Monday since customer service is not open on the weekends. Also, they are on Eastern time so that leaves a small window to call. I will get the set screw but it will take 4 business days to get here.Contrast this with Delta's customer service that has been easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. We lost a tiny part off one of the faucets about a day after it was installed and Delta sent out a replacement right away with no charge. Problems will happen with things you buy for your house and customer service is more valuable to me than anything else. In hindsight, I wish I had purchased the Delta valve and trim.

Very happy.
Love this. I read the reviews and was questioning my decision. Someone gave it a bad rating but it seemed like it was someone who was disgruntled. Everything else kept pointing in the positive direction so I went with it. Very happy. If I have to say one negative, its that I wish it were a little more traditional looking. But that's a taste preference.

Well-made shower valve with integrated on-off and tub spout/shower diverter
The shower valve has two controls: the larger lever controls only water temperature, and the upper lever is on-off/volume control, as well as providing a diverter function that allows you to direct water either to your tub spout or shower head. Water is shut off when the top lever is at the 12 o'clock position; turning to the right sends water to the shower head, and turning to the left sends water to the tub spout. You could instead choose to have the two outputs be a fixed shower head and a hand-shower for shower-only setups. This diverter design is far superior to diverters where there is a button to lift on the tub spout. The thermostatic (temperature) control valve is designed to maintain a constant water temperature, even if cold or hot water is turned on elsewhere in your home. That means you shouldn't get sudden blasts of cold or hot water while you are showering. Our experience is that the water temperature ranges from warm to very hot, and that the valve won't deliver anything close to cold water. This is usually not a problem unless you want a cold shower or need to fill the tub with cold water for some reason. Our plumber initially installed the sleeve for the thermostatic valve upside down; you need to look carefully for, and align, the index mark on the valve sleeve at the 12 o'clock position for correct operation.

Wrong unit is pictured!
This unit only handles a single output, not two like is depicted. I’ll be sending this back

It only handles 1 outlet! Don't be fooled!
Your product picture shows a diverter for 2 outlets , when i received all 3 trims they were only good for 1 outlet! bait and switch , very deceiving... would never buy from this seller again.
