I use this on my koi pond; works great. Removes chlorine, breaks apart chloramines. For those in high-chloramine areas, you might want to make sure your pH isn't much above ~7.3 or so; above that, as the chloramine is split and releases ammonia, the ammonia is only toxic at a higher pH; keep it neutral or below and you're fine.For those that insist on arguing the topic, I've kept fish, professionally even, for over 50 yrs ... and have degrees in marine biology, microbiology, and chemistry. Chew on that before you give a half-baked retort.

I have a covered pool, so chlorine doesn't burn off as easily. This helps me keep my chlorine in check.

It works bery well to lower the pool chlorine

Opened it and it was the crystallized version . The instructions say put near a return line, but my pools return lines are up high on my fiberglass pool so I’m not sure what to do. I used a powder version that seemed to be easy so I’m confused about how to use the crystals. Thank you
