I've been using this cleanser for at least 10 years, 2-3 times a day. My skin has always been oily and breakout prone and it works well for me. It never gets dry and gets all my oil and makeup off. My daughter uses it too in the shower and it doesn't cause irritation so I'd consider it kid-safe as well. I love this brand and the cleanness yet effectiveness of the ingredients. I use another Derma-E serum and it makes my skin glow without breakouts.

This is a great cleanser for my acne-prone, sensitive skin. It cleans the skin effectively and great for acne. I find that my skin is clearer and any active breakouts heal faster when using this compared to any other cleanser I've tried (and I've tried a lot). Despite being sulfate-free, this cleanser produces a nice lather.A little amount of product goes a long way with this so it is a great value. I purchased this on January 5th, 2017 and as of March 5th, 2017, I still have about half of the bottle left. My only gripe with this cleanser is that it is a bit drying. My face feels quite tight after using it. This is why I am not giving it a five star review. .I use this in combination with either a silicone face pad (such as this one Facial Cleansing Pads, Magift Soft Silicone Face Scrubbers Exfoliators, Perfect For Massage Washing Pore Cleanser Blackhead Remover and Baby Shower, Hand Hold Easy To Use, Pack of 2) or a konjac sponge (I recommend this pack of sponges to use with it: PIXNOR Konjac Sponge All Natural Facial Body Sponges with Activated Bamboo Charcoal - 3 Pack.Overall, I highly recommend this product and I will be repurchasing when I run out.

I have always been blessed with good skin, lucky me. However, after just celebrating my 40th birthday, I think my good genes are in need of some help. I'm new to having any sort of skin care routine other than washing with whatever soap is handy and using a moisturizer.My face is pretty dry and gets flaky. I don't think I really have "dry skin" but it's a lack of proper care on my part. ((Please read Laziness.)) I knew I needed something better, but I wasn't about to spend the amount of money that some "top brands" demand for their products. I'm a simple girl and I'm frugal wherever I can be.I came across the Derma -E line and found that lots of people like it for the price and product quality. Good stuff at a fair price? Count me in!This is a pretty basic, non foaming, cleanser. It's not an exfoliation product, but you don't want that in a daily face wash anyway. What I can tell you is that so far, I really like it. The product is black from the charcoal and that was a little jarring at first. But it's very light and has no real fragrance. It doesn't take much product, and my face feels really clean after use. I also have none of the tightness or flaky skin even after just a few weeks of use and I'm still using the same moisturizer as I did before.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, would recommend and will purchase again.

I purchased this cleanser to use as my second step cleanser after oil-cleansing. ( I make my own blend with hemp seed oil and tea tree) I usually shy away from any skincare containing activated charcoal because I find it to be a little too intense of a detoxifier for my skin (combination with very small pores that are ridiculously easy to clog) but I thought it would be efficient at pulling all the oil cleanser out. Also, I’m newly obsessed with algae or more specifically, bladderwrack in skincare.... And this has that ... and aloe.... LOVE!!!The reviews aren’t particularly amazing for this product but I’m really happy with this cleanser. I enjoy other Derma-e products, the scent of this isn’t the greatest but it lathers enough with about a dime size dollop.I would really like to emphasize that this cleanser does an amazing job at removing all the oil cleanser from my skin WITHOUT making it look dry or Feel tight!! It takes out all the bad and puts good back in!!! My skin is so happy!! This checks all my boxes! Will purchase from amazon again cuz yeah what is it, $8.00? Can’t beat it!

I cannot say enough good things about this face wash. I've been using it for years now. Prior to this I was using a $60 face wash sold by a pharmaceutical company that I got through my dermatologist. Everything else I have ever used makes me break out! And I have literally tried so many things! I love that this is not only cheaper but also significantly cleaner as far as ingredients go. I use the Oil Free Purifying Face Moisturizer as well and cannot say enough good things about it either. I have been using it for about 7 years. Prior to it I broke out from my college years until I finally found it. Now my skin is clear and gorgeous and I only use these two products.The face wash cleans away my heavy duty sweatproof mascara and eyeliner as well as any eye makeup remover. It also cleans without drying out my face the way most anti-acne washes do. The accompanying moisturizer also balances and restores the proper ph levels to my face.
