Good training rounds that feed fine through my AR10
They are in fact shorter than real 308 rounds, the size difference is mostly in the bullet itself, the cases are basically the same. I haven't had any feeding issues through my AR10 (Aero M5 with pmags). The red coating seems thin and shows marks pretty easily, but besides that they've held up well.

Works perfectly in Ruger American
I was actually a little skeptical about these snap caps because I have the same brand in 40 caliber and have had problems with them...just the usual thing, frequent failure to feed and the edges getting all chewed up. Given that the dimensions on this are not quite right apparently (the bullet part is shorter than it is in a real 308 bullet) I was concerned.However, I'm happy to report that these work completely flawlessly in my Ruger American rifle. I think the mechanisms in a striker-fired pistol are harder on snap caps than those of a bolt-action rifle. I don't see any damage to these snap caps from repeated usage in my rifle and they always load and eject perfectly...completely flawless.My only beef with these is the same as my beef with all snap caps. They are just too expensive. For only two caps. Luckily I don't cycle them nearly as fast in my rifle as I do in my pistol so I guess it's ok.For a pistol I might recommend the plastic ones with a spring in them, but for a bolt-action rifle, these are exactly what's wanted.

A must for practicing
I have a 308 bolt gun (rifle). I do dry fire practice with these snap caps. Oh you can get a better training value by setting a dime at the (muzzle) end of your barrel. If you can dry fire the weapon without the dime falling off, your getting smoother with your trigger squeeze.

No Cumple con las expectativas.
No cumplen con su cometido,al ser de silicona el centro, no se cuantos impactos aguantaran pero de momento. Solo a aguantado tres impactos. Ya tiene un agujero y no sirve. Ya sabes el dicho lo barato sale caro.

Works as intended, but I received a faulty one.
Works as intended aside from me receiving one with the "primer" pushed in before first use. Just sent in a request for a replacement, hopefully it shows up in a timely manner.
