This is not self watering. I don't get it. The bottle is a humidifier, so you fill it, it releases mist and then it's empty. You can't put water in the bottom tray because it just overspills and goes everywhere as soon as you place the pot in the tray. To water the plants you have to remove every pot, unstacking them and then place them in a sink of water each week. It's really, really misleading to call this a self watering pot.

After only 2 months the power base has failed. NOTE - This product comes from CHINA. Very limited exchange policy. BUYER BEWARE. It looks cute and is fun at first but without the power base it is useless.
