Can Opener, No-Trouble-Lid-Lift Magnet Manual Can Openers, Stainless Steel Sharp Blade for Beer/Tin/Bottle, Big Turning Knob Soft Handles Good for Seniors

This can opener is just barely passable. We used it for a couple years before seeking one that works better. Problem is that it keeps falling off the can as you turn the crank, often resulting in an incomplete open.

I have opened various cans and it works GREAT!!!The blade is sharp and the turn gear is really smooth and effortless. It feels really lightweight, but it is really sturdy.The bottle opener is a nice touch, it pops tops with no trouble.I was able to wash and clean around the gears and blade. They are so accessible, due to the removable protective cover.The only issue I had was the damaged protective cover. Not sure if the plastic is too flimsy were it attaches or if it was damaged during shipment. It was not on the product when it was received. I was still able to fit it on there. I will see if the maker can remedy this - I will amend this post with the results.As you can see on the pic I have it hanging on my refrigerator through the magnet- I'm know - this is not was what it was intended for but it sure holds on!Give it a try you will like it!!Part 2 --- So I have upgraded my star points- I spoke to the company about my broken item, and they responded in less than 24hrs with a resolution. I am so impressed by their commitment to their product. I will continue to buy from them. They made this transaction better than what I could have expected. I recommend this product to anyone.

Used it 1 time & I was in love. Bragged to my friends and actually enjoyed the ease of opening cans.About 3 months in, I started to open a can of veggies and all of a sudden it just popped into pieces! The little inside pieces scattered, a few went down the sink & I was left with 2 useless handles.I may open 4-5 cans a week & they are just average cans so I do not know what happened.I do know I am sad because I am back to junky store openers.

I purchased this can opener to replace my old one, which has lost most of its sharpness. This can opener was the right price and had a few convenient features that others did not--for about the same price. I liked the blade cover and the magnet to lift up the can lid--as well as its bottle opener. The red handles are soft and make the opener easy to handle. I did have some problems trying to open so cans here and there because the opener was not totally aligned with the ridge of the can lid. It took me a couple of tries to get it right--and thus the four-star rating for this product. Time will only tell, though, how long will this can opener will actually last.

I had bought some can openers in big box stores, and they were always a fight to open cans, caused hand pain and had to be replaced far too often.This cost about the same but is larger, more comfortable to hold and cuts very smoothly. Its very easy to use and not painful on my hands like the old ones were since it requires significantly less force and fits in the hand better. The lid is cut more cleanly and is very easy to remove with the magnet. The magnet also makes storage easy, I keep it on the side of the fridge. The bottle opener has room for improvement but works, its still a nice bonus. Overall this was a great buy, and makes life a little easier.

I was hoping to find a handheld can opener that would last a long time because how do you open cans if the power goes out and all you have is a electric can opener. This can opener was a great price for what appears to be very heavy duty and looks like if should last a very long time It does open cans very easily and it can open bottle caps and other types of cans by prying up. Not too long ago I bought a can opener that broke on the very first can I tried to open. So I am happy to find a good can opener

This is a really good can opener. Easy to hold, sturdy and well made. Sometimes I do find it's difficult to use on bigger cans and I struggle to remove the lid cleanly but overall, it's a great buy.

It worked for a few weeks then the teeth did not mesh and the bottom wheel couldnt grip onto the can. Piece of junk. Wasn't even worth the price its going for.
