A nice alternative to clay bars, just be sure to learn how to use them
I’m sure you will see some bad reviews about these. Just keep in mind that there is a right way and a wrong way to use these. If you take your time and are patient, properly clean the surface of the paint or glass, use the right kind of detail spray, you should be fine. When you first open it, you will notice that they are all stuck together, put them in the freezer, after an hour, pull them out, maybe wait a minute or two, and slowly pull them apart. I had heard in some reviews if it’s hot it’ll totally break down the rubber surface and ruin it. So I froze them and didn’t have that problem.I personally would not use these on a hot day, that rubber is really tacky in the sense I can see it even when the surface is slick and soaked there’s a potential for it sticking. You need to really thoroughly clean the surface before you use these. If you have any fairly recently added wax or sealant products put on the paint, if you immediately use something like this, it will totally pack up the pad and make it sticky and completely useless.Do not apply very much pressure, in fact be very light and gentle with it, the more pressure you use, the more chances it will get stuck to the paint, and you might get that tacky rubber stuck on the paint thing. Be generous with your detail spray, I use Maguires auto detail spray, I’m sure you can use some other good detail sprays out there just be sure that it gives the surface a nice slick feel and be generous in your usage.Every few passes wipe off anything from the pads that might be accumulating.Be sure to do small areas, like 1x1ft sections. Maybe 2x2ft if you get more comfortable. As you go back and forth in straight movements you will feel it working. If an area is really rough it will have friction and when it gets better you will notice the friction gets less and less.I was really impressed with this, I have used products like this before in the past, and I’ve had some issues with them, this is the first time I’ve used one that did not have as many issues as the ones I’ve had before, but I also took some precautions preparing the paint making sure any left over protectants were gone as much as possible. I didn’t try the car wash method so I can’t speak to that. I will say these do not last very long. I used up about 3 of them on a 4 door hatchback. But the fact that it doesn’t pick up dirt that could potentially scratch the paint surface unlike a clay bar. And the fact this can store a long time and still be okay exposed to air unlike a clay bar. I really liked this.

Absolutely Unusable
Horrible. Completely unusable. All of the bars were stuck together. The plastic packaging ripped all of the clay off. Horrible packaging, horrible product.

All bars stuck together
As others have noted, all of the bars were stuck together and could not be separated without destroying the bars. Each bar should be individually wrapped, not one wrap around everything. Horrid packaging which could not be worse.

WORK AS EXPECTED.
These things perform! I have had 2 I have been using for 4-5 months. Still work. Just ordered 6 more. Should be good for the year.

Can't do without
A must for any car cleaning. Leaves the surface smooth with a bright shine. Extracts all the embedded debris.

Terrible
Terrible product, claybars were stuck together upon unwrapping the package. Literally had to pry them apart and they all ripped. Would not recommend.
