These flea and tick collars are great! I have been using these for the last 2 years after using the name brand collar for years. These are SO MUCH cheaper than the name brand and work just as good or better!

While sheltering in place, my dog is getting outside a lot. I don't have any flea and ticks but I wanted to prevent any future problems. I have never tried a flea and tick collar before but I don't like the messy and gooey topicals.I opened the tin and found two collars. The collar is a nice material and very flexible. It is easy to put on the dog and you simply slide the end through the clasp and cut off extra material. I wasn't exactly sure how tight to make the collar but noticed in the instructions it said "two fingers" from neck. So not too tight or too loose. I read a few reviews about the color burning the dog but I wonder if those reviewers were having their dog wear the color too tight. I am on day three and no problems.What I like about this collar is that is really flexible and a bit stretchy. This seems to help with the fit and make it comfortable for my dog. The collar fits nicely around my dog's neck and I am able to cover the collar with my regular collar.I read someplace that if you have flea and tick problems, you need a number of products for your pet, home and your yard. I don't believe a collar alone will fix a infestation but this collar is really great for peace of mind and preventing fleas and killing flea eggs.

There isn’t an option for minus 5 stars! We have been battling the mutant fleas from Hell, it seems. Desperate to find something to help our 6 pack of Chihuahua/min pin mix, 8-16 pounds. One day with the collars and my poor little dogs necks are swollen! Irritated and swollen! The ad says one size fits all dogs & safe for pups. So, I’m assuming that is because we cut half of the collar off, that’s how the dosage is controlled. But now, I gotta call a vet, like I can afford this times 6! I am so beyond upset, I can hardly think! Oh my God, this is a nightmare! I’m fixing to try to reach the company about this. I see no warning about something like this happening! OMG! This is terrible! I’m trying to get my little dog to let me take a picture of her neck. She’s black, so, I hope it shows up. Actually, I think the picture shows it better on the black one. The timing couldn’t be worse! I’m still struggling to get up the money to fix my roof before my ceilings fall in again from the rain. Storm damage, no home owns insurance. I’m a disabled senior citizen. Oh, this is bad. It was hard enough to afford these things and now this! Had the package labeling been made available prior to the purchase, I would not have ever even ordered them! So, if I touch the coller, I must wash my hands under running water! Running water! For 15 to 30 minutes! With water charged by the gallon, I must wash my hands for 30 minutes, and this is supposed to be safe for my fur babies???!!! I added a couple of updated pictures, today is Thursday, or, it was Thursday when the pics were taken. My poor little dogs!

I still occasionally find living ticks in the house that are coming in on the dogs. My dogs get a flea/tick/hw combo pill but I added the collar because of the repelling factor since I'm in heavily tick infested woods, plus the mosquito repelling is a great addition. I don't have any empirical evidence, but I highly suspect the number of ticks getting in the house is way lower than it would be otherwise. I have not seen any fleas in the house.

The product worked great in terms of deterring fleas. I have not seen one yet; however, I have decided I would rather have fleas.Both of my dogs became lethargic and short of breath within hours of putting the collar on. They sleep in my bed and I must assume that I inhaled the fumes from the collars as well because I became sick. Symptoms included nausea, vomiting, lethargy, dizziness and confusion. After removing the collars and cleaning all necessary items/areas we were all significantly better. It is possible that I was able to trick myself into thinking it was all related, but my dogs are not that intuitive.Again, they did the job but use caution.

My grandma used these for our dogs growing up every year and she still does to this day for ticks. I found a tick recently since it is the season, she told me to try this for my 4 dogs and they have worked great. The durability is great, easy to get on, one thing that is intriguing is that it has a weird smell to it if you’re up close to the dog. Love the secure packaging as well.

Our dog has never had ticks or fleas with this collar. She has picked up a tick or two, but they never attach, just crawl around. What ever (compounds/chemicals) is in this collar, it doesn't seem to bother our dog either. Never had an issue and they do seem to last for 12 months.
