Sun Bum SPF 50 has been a staple for me - especially on beach days or long walks when I know I need real protection. It goes on smooth, doesn’t feel greasy, and smells like summer (in the best way).I love that it’s reef-friendly and doesn’t leave that weird white cast like some high-SPF sunscreens do. It’s one of those products I just trust to do its job ... and it totally delivers.

I am a sunscreen fanatic and try a different brand each season, as I am never 100% satisfied. This Sun Bum 50 SPF for the body is the best I have tried in about 10 years. I use a different product for my face and neck, then add this to the back of my neck, my shoulders and arms and down my legs, including my feet. It has a slight fragrance, but not offensive, and it quickly leaves.

I used 30 the entire time I was in Florida. The lotion is fantastic when you put it on before you go out in the sun. I did not burn once!! Make sure you reapply after being out in the sun for too long. I stretched it for 2 hours and still no burn. But everyone is different. I’m fair to medium but can get a decent tan.

I am long-time fan of the Sun Bum sunscreen. Their sunscreen smells amazingly like bananas. What I like most about it, is that it does not smell like a lot of the cheaper sunscreens and it is does not leave the oily, sticky residue of the cheaper sunscreens. It washes off well, too. It does advertise as being better for sea life which can be a selling point, but I'm not sure if this has been or can be confirmed.

Love the smell and feel. Not sure how well it stands up the sweat.

This is the first time I've used Sun Bum, and I like it. Sun Bum goes on smoothly without caking or a greasy feel. So far, I give this sunscreen lotion full marks.

Pros: goes on easily, holds up to swimming reasonably well, as advertised, has classic sun screen smell (likely you are enjoying a day out, the scent fits in), container has a very soild snap shut top (lotion all over the beach bag sucks)Cons: separates into thin oil and solids on a daily basis (could be heat related, about 80 in my case, shaking fixes this), does not hold up to an hour of swimming in 80 deg Hawaiian ocean water (very salty).Observations based on two months stay in hawaii (mid Jan - mid Mar) swimming for an hour almost every day.Btw: compared to Essential Zinc 30 Hawaiian Blend which held up to swimming better, went on like sticky glue, smelled nasty and had a loose ftiing top which I taped shut and used as a screw off top.

Wore it at a day in the beach and had no sunburn, pricey but good quality
