Super Saw
This is an awesome saw! Never knew how easy cutting could be. Tried so many other saws and in comparison to this the all failed miserably. This is light weight, easy to grip, fits firmly in one hand, can cut 2" branches with one hand quickly and cleanly. As easy or easier to use then equivalent power tools, such as chain saw or reciprocal saw. Safer too. A dream saw. Wish I had it earlier. Light weight makes it great for camping and backpacking.

Nicely made
Light weight, but sturdy (as long as you cut on the pull stroke). Very aggressive teeth make easy cutting. Way more affordable than a Silky.

Great handsaw
Cuts like butter. Take care of this saw and it'll last a long time. Comfortable to hold, folds up well.

Game changing!
The weather in Texas has finally become bearable for doing work outdoors. As it turns out, I really didn't need to wait until October to raze a sizeable collection of lady palms which have fiber covered canes. With this saw I was able to quickly and easily sever even the more well developed canes. I expected the job to take hours based on how long it took me to trim the tops off a number of palms while using a battery operated jigsaw. How long did it take to clear the ground? I'm guessing 20 minutes and I'm not exaggerating. The blade of this saw is incredibly sharp and effective. It's a remarkable saw at an unbeatable price.

Light Saber for Camping/Bushcraft
I've been making the rounds with these hand-held saws. I had some sort of compulsion to buy every one of them I saw on sale, which has resulted in a weird pile of these saws, but also affords me the opportunity to try them out. For those in the know, I have: Silky Gomby, Laplander, Gerber Change a Blade, SOG, and now the Corona. The Corona is by far the biggest and bulkiest, but....Damn! It really is a chainsaw. It makes all of the others feel flimsy and puny. Once you get the blade going, it cuts like butter (with the Silky). The reason I prefer this to the Silky is just how robust if feels. I've only had it a few months, so I can't attest to the long term viability, but so far I've been so impressed that I think nothing of carrying the extra weight in my pack, as the performance is so far above the competition. Now...this is the bigger version, so it might be an apples and oranges comparison. I think there is a 7 or 8" version, but I am actually comparing via price point, as this cost about what my other saws did. On another note...the Gerber is absolute trash. The Laplander is small and handy, but not fast. The SOG is big and fun, but flimsy. Not much more to add folks. If space and weight is not a premium, this is the beast to carry.

My new favorite tool!!
Can I just tell you how much fun this thing is?!!! I am obsessed! Ironically, I ordered this based solely on the reviews/ratings. I didn’t even notice the brand name was “Corona” and the reason I needed this was to cut through thick ORIENTAL Bittersweet vines that originate from China (also Japan and Korea) and are highly invasive and spread like wildfire! Go figure! I’ve. Been tackling these things for 3 years just cutting back the smaller growth stemming from the “big momma” vines where these all started from. Every year it just got worse and spread because I didn’t kill the host vines. These sons of b*****s were like 5 or 6 inches thick! This thing cuts through them like butter and lets me crawl around under the 10ft tall rhododendrons that the bittersweet is wrapping itself around and killing. I can get it in the smaller spaces where there’s not much room to work with because of its compact size! And being a female that’s not a bodybuilder, I needed something lightweight! My husband was also impressed and needed to try it himself seeing the ease I was having hacking through thick vines and limbs of bushes! I hope the blade stays sharp because this is my new “go to” for anything I can find to hack down!! I’m defiantly going to start thinking of other people I can order this for and gift it!!
