Great for Renters
I like these, they do seem to work well and stay on the window and keep the cords up high where the kids can't reach. I think it's probably better for those windows where you aren't lifting the blinds up a lot because getting them unwrapped/rewrapped after that is a little annoying. But we have them on a few windows that we only use the rods to adjust so they work just great there, especially because we're renting and we don't want to make any permanent changes to the house by installing the other type of wrap bars. BTW, I bought one of these for around $15. I was going to buy another set but it looks like at the time of this writing they are $35, which seems a little steep.

they do their job
They are big and bulky and looked ugly. We have bigger faux wood blinds and they would catch on the these and knock them off every time we raised or lowered the blinds. They did their job, but there are better ones out there.

great solution for cat safety
I've tried other commonly available cord wranglers to keep dangerous blinds cords away from the kitties. This is the only one that has worked for me.You wind the excess length of your blinds around two discs on the back of the wrap-up, and you "lock" the cords in place by pulling them through a couple of notches in the discs. This effectively shortens your cord by gathering it up in the wrap-up. I've had the cords slip out of the notches a couple of times and start unwinding, but some careful figure-8 wrapping seems to keep that under control.Assuming you use your blinds regularly and don't leave them either open or closed all the time, and that you want to leave the device on your blinds rather than attach it for occasional use, you'll wrap up all the cord length that's hanging down when your blinds are closed (otherwise the device would keep you from being able to close them). When you then open your blinds by pulling on the cord with the wrap-up at the end, you've got another 3-5 feet of unwrapped cord to deal with. That cord is just as dangerous to cats as the rest of it and needs to be secured. At this point I either wrap the excess cord loosely around the device (not locking it in to the little notches) before attaching it to the window, or I attach the wrap-up high on the opposite side of the window so the extra cord spans the window width and stays far out of kitty reach. The suction cups have worked reliably well for the two months I've been using these. This may not be the most attractive solution out there, particularly when there's excess cord strung across the top of your window, but it beats the hassle of winding and unwinding cords morning and night, or of cords getting tangled inside other wranglers. If you don't want to look at the device, you can attach it up high, behind the gathered blinds, when they're open, and when they're closed just tuck the cord between/behind the blinds. (They still look kinda silly from outside, if anyone is that close to your windows and cares to judge.) But they get the five stars for kitty safety and reliability, which are the things that matter most to me.

Tiresome to use
Not very satisfied. Thought it would be easier to wind the cord but it is annoying and I think the suction cups will age and fall off after awhile in the sun. If they had a retractable contraption then it would be easier to wind the cord and I'd use it more often. Update: I hammered a small nail in the corner of the window sill and hang the cords there when I lift the shades up.

Effective, not particularly attractive.
These cord wraps do the job. They're not beautiful, but they keep the cords away from the kids very effectively. The suction cups are nice for sticking them to the windows. I end up having to wrap and unwrap a few feet of cord every time I raise or lower the blinds, but it's not too onerous, and worth it for the peace of mind.

Simple but effective design; a little plain looking
These do exactly what they are supposed to because of their simple design. They suction to the window and you wrap the cord around the white plastic spool to prevent tangles or accidents. Overall the quality is decent, and the suction cups hold well.I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars because the white plastic backing is plainlooking, and I wish they made some other color or material options.

Okay, But not Great
These don't work as easily as I'd like. The suction to the window works most of the time, but the device doesn't always hold both parts of the cord in place. That means I have to re-adjust in order for both sides of the blinds to go up or down evenly.

Great simple product does exactly what you want with no holes.
These are exactly what I wanted. I have some weird blinds that have 4 cords on one side so the other kinds of cord wrap devices would not have worked. This simple device easily works with multiple cords. It is also easier to unwrap if needed to unjust the blind then the other devices I have. It blends into the blinds and you would never notice them. Unlike some of the other reviewers I had no problems getting them to stick and I didn't clean the glass first. If I need to baby/animal proof anymore blinds I will be buying more of these. I love that these don't leave any marks or holes so you don't have to fix things when you move or your child gets older.
