Newrays Glass Bankers Desk Lamp with Pull Chain Switch Plug in Fixture (Green)

Bought this lamp to replace a near identical lamp that fell apart after year of use. This new lamp is much more solidly built and is holding up perfectly. Worth every penny. This lamp is the classic desk lamp design and that is probably because it is an optimum design that is hard to improve on. You will see this style of desk lamp in old black and white movies and in new films. You can see it in paintings, illustrations, this lamp style has been around a long time and has a classic elegance that is hard to beat.

This bankers lamp looks amazing! I have them paired with LED Edison bulbs and they work great.

Great lamp

This lamp has made my desk work so much easier because it can support a 60 watt bulb. I prefer incandescent bulbs, and if you do too, this socket will support them. I love the pull chain, though it was a bit hard to get off the socket (it was wrapped around it). I like that the lamp came fully assembled, you just need to undo the plastic and plug it in.My only disappointment is that the green shade is perhaps not as dark a green when lit as I expected, but maybe all green lamp shades are like this -- it's a bit eerie. But overall it's a great purchase and again, gives that extra wattage to the work surface.

It was purchased and given as a gift. They love it! Normal bulbs fit but it’s a tight one with hardly any room to move your fingers. I definitely recommend a low lumen amber bulb. It looks good! Couldn’t take a normal picture to post to make it look good but it does look good. I know others have had unfortunate damage with shipping but mine arrived fine. The outer box was roughed up and that did make me nervous when I came home to the package, but luckily none of the inside packaging was damaged. It has a sturdy base so I’m not worried about it tipping, whether by accident or pulling the light chain.

I bought this lamp to replace one I inherited from my dad. The green shade was made of plastic and finally just disintegrated. I ordered this lamp because it so closely resembled my old one.What a wonderful surprise when I opened the package to find a much more superior product. The green shade is glass and will not come apart after a period of time. I am so very happy with this purchase.

Great lamp that also looks pretty. I use it on my jigsaw puzzle table and it adds the extra light I need.
