In answer to your question re officejet 3830, I’m afraid I don’t know the answer, as mine is an HP deskjet 3636, but I can tell you the cartridges are definitely compatible and I’ve had no problem.

Only 1 out of 2 worked. 50% not good enough. No reply from company

First cartridge didn't work, second one did. It was out of the 30 day return period when I tried using the cartridges (as I tend to have a cartridge in stock) and I got no reply at all from the company. I won't be reordering.

Printer said no

My printer didn’t like these, so I had to return them. Not sure if it’s just my printer that is temperamental as it only seems like original HP cartridges. Tried a few others in the past and none of them seem to be compatible for some reason.

Was a bit dubious to try an unbranded replacement ink but was compatible with the HP 4522 and installed first time wit any problem, just got it and gives a nice dark print, we will see how long it lasts but very pleased so far and if it does last longer than a normal cartridge I will be a con and buy it from now on - great price
