This was the first time venturing into the "smart" scales. I have had other scales in the past and my last one scanned bone density, fat, water, etc but it took about 10 seconds to scan and it would rotate through the numbers so for me to write down my measurements, I sometimes had to step on it a second time and wait.The wonderful thing about this scale is that you open the app, click on the weigh button and just step on and in less than 5 seconds your data is saved to you phone. No more need to write down the information. It even tells you how much weight you loss from the last time you weighed yourself. You can also see up reminders of when to weigh yourself.The scale uses three AAA batteries which is great and easy to purchase. I can't account for how long the battery's going to last but my prior scale used 2 cr2032 and the battery only lasted about a month or two.You can set it to measure in Kg, lbs and stone. When you stand on the scale, it shows your weight but more information is found in the app. You can even review you entire history and expert it to pdf.Aside from a few language translation issues, the scale and app works pretty good. I recommend this scale for those looking for an entry level smart scale.

The product is of great quality and easy usage. I received the product after 1 business day and learned how to use it within a minute. The APP that needs to be downloaded is designed in a straight forward and self-explaining way. The scale not only measures the body weight and body fat but also some very specific and useful metric such as vascular fat, bone muscle weight, and bone weight. I particularly like the function of generating PDF report of my body that includes all kinds of metrics as well as the desirable quantity of nutrients I need to achieve my goal, which was set when the APP was opened the first time. The report I believe would also serve as a great aid for my physician. Overall the scale is really useful and I believe it can make a good gift for someone wishing to achieve a better body shape.

UPDATE: 11/05After leaving my review, I had been contacted by customer support. They offered to refund me money or give me a new scale. I requested a scale. I could choose the same model or updated. I liked the old better (design) but the new one uses different app so I took the new one. It is actually beautiful in person, so I am happy I did. The flaw no longer exists so my problem was solved. All through the replacement process I was extremely busy and the customer support kept sending me emails and reminding me about my options. They shipped it right away and sent me tracking. This was impressive for any customer support, and when you remember this was a $20 products....WOW! Yeah, I am happily changing this from 1 to 5 stars. Bad product happen, but they fixed it. It is worth rewarding.ORIGINAL: This scale has all the super duper features but it is very hard to trust. I weight myself in the same way every day. After using the bathroom, completely naked. I have to stand on it 3-5 times to figure out the average value because it can differ up to 3 pound. Being someone who is using scale to gain weight, that is a huge % difference. All the body info measurements are off too from one measurement to the next.The mobile app makes it either impossible or just to hard to find - getting past detailed data - you must save each report or it is gone?This is literally going to Goodwill next time I am there. It is better to have no information than wrong information.

EDIT #2:Customer service reached out to me because of my review, helped me clear up the log in BS, and looks like they even fixed the KG bugs I mentioned in the app (wow). Back to 4 stars, thanks for making things right!EDIT:App just randomly deleted my data and now I need a "+86" number from China to sign up for an account, wtf?! 1 star!Looked around a lot for an accurate scale, thought I finally found one reading some of these other reviews, but it's just as inaccurate as the others I've tried, the app is complete garbage for this one though.Every time I weigh myself, the first time is exactly 2.6lbs more. Not sure why but that's pretty shoddy work imo, as I now need to weigh myself twice a day.As I mentioned, the app is also garbage. Even after switching to imperial measure units (pounds instead of KG), the last item in my history view is in KG.. so there are bugs in the app too, and I don't think it's accurately reading fat vs muscle. I'm very muscular with low body fat and it seems to think ALL my extra weight is fat. Ok.

Worth the money!.... or so I thought in the beginning... It worked for the first couple of months, it's synced to my phone and I was able to track all my statuses and everything. I did read comments about other people having the same issues I'm now experiencing but I figured hey what the heck I should give it a try, I thought I was special and that mine wouldn't malfunction, but I was obviously mistaken. It no longer will turn on to weigh me if I try to weigh myself while getting the stats on my phone, and it simply won't turn on sometimes. It will however turn on but only in kgs and not pounds. I will turn it over and click the lbs button to turn it back and as soon as I set it on the ground, wait for it to register to 0 and as soon as I step on it it turns off... So if I want to continue to weigh myself in kgs I will, but it's a little annoying. so I'm definitely buying a new scale... absolutely not worth the buy, the company also offered a free gift with your purchase if you verify your purchase and I have yet to receive my gift and I bought this back in April of 2021 I believe
