First the bad: Those pesky stickers are an abomination. For the love of all things holy, don't put them on the outside! However, I did follow the instructions in some of the other reviews here and they came off with a little bit of effort. One of them was a bit stubborn and some dye came off, but I dabbed on some archival ink from a stamp pad with a piece of felt and that took care of it.Now, the GOOD: I've collected quite a few of these book boxes over the years and these are, by far, the loveliest ones I now own. The leather is buttery soft. The seams are neat. The embossing is well done. The spine has a beautiful curve and is exactly the gothic library aesthetic I was looking for. They are very well made. The largest one can really hold a lot! I would buy another set in a heartbeat. Very, very happy with these.

Quality item - looks like soft leather with embedded emblem. I looked for awhile to find a "book" box that could hold 8.5 x 11 standard paper. This is perfect - the paper fits perfectly, snugly, inside.

The media could not be loaded. I am surprised at the quality of these. The biggest book box is huge - I love it! And the color, beautiful!Gorgeous product, and then I flip over one of the boxes to see a formaldehyde warning on the back….

Great looking book cases! Like everyone else, I don't understand why the manufacturer continues using the horrible/cheap labels that stick to their product!!!! Nevertheless, because of a very helpful comment from a previous customer, I was able to remove the offending labels with no apparent damage to the book cases.1) Remove the label with your fingers as much as you can.2) Use Windex or other benign household cleaner to remove the "paper" part of the label.3) Once only the adhesive residue is left, squirt some WD40 on a paper towel, wipe the adhesive off, and clean it off with a damp paper towel.The paper towel with the WD40 looks like it rubbed off some coloring, but I couldn't notice it on the product itself.

Their quality is WAY BETTER than expected!! They are wonderful. They look beautiful on my shelf. And fit my 8x10 bible perfectly.

I use the 2 smaller book boxes stacked on a small table next to my chair to hold the TV remote, pencil, paper, and other frequently used items. I keeps everything handy but neat in attractive "books". The largest box is kept in another room and is large enough to contain standard 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of paper (others have said it was too small for this). Are they perfectly made? No. But I still gave them 5 stars because I think they look very good for the price, and I am a person who appreciates quality items.

...but I would not purchase again.They look nice but are somewhat padded. I suppose from a distance they look real, but if close, it screams fake. The stickers on the back, two of them, are super sticky and tear when pulling off. Which would be fine, but any scrubbing to remove the adhesive, scratches the surface. They are placed right beside the bind so you can't just leave them on.

Okay the books themselves are pretty nice. The padded covers and faux leather detailing make them feel good to handle and I quite like them on my shelf. However reading all the other reviews about the barcode stickers I was like "surely these bozos just don't know how to properly remove a sticker" but no. This has to be the strongest adhesive known to man. NASA engineered. Military industrial grade. It doesn't really ruin the boxes for me but these half peeled stickers sure are silly looking.

A little pricey, but looks great. Looks much better in my bedroom that odds and ends lying around. Also handy for nightstand items you want in easy reach and not in a drawer.
