Big Backyard F23220 Windale Play Center

I looked at a play set at Sam's just like this set, but it was slightly larger on scale. The price difference Sam's was $600.00 more! My grandchildren are 3 & 5, and I didn't feel it would make that much of a difference for them and it doesn't. Make sure to anchor it down really well because they can swing pretty high otherwise it is a very good play set and sturdy. The grand kids love it and my son with some patients was able to assemble it himself. This play set is good for children up to about 10yrs. I would guess. Also, I ordered it from Amazon, but according to the packing slip it came from Wal-Mart.

At first looked like great play set for the money. It took us couple days to put it together and the instructions were there.BUT terrible quality! We had it for 3 months and slide is broken and wood is cracked everywhere. Plastic changed color around screws as well. Not worth the money, would do 0 stars if I could!

Showed up 6/17/22 built solo eod 6/18/22. Instructions kinda suck but not too bad. A couple of boards split but no big deal. Slide will hold me (210lbs) I can swing full speed with no tilt or tortion. Kids love it (3 and 8). If you have the right tools it goes together quick ie. Drill, impact driver, hammer, sockets and wrench. Impact driver is essential. My tools we cheaper ones from Walmart Hart brand.

First of I want to say I love the finished product and would buy again. The price was good compared to comparable products. All cedar and has a real roof atop, not just a tarp.But I wanted to state my issues for the manufacturer to improve and also to help others who may have the same concerns.1. The instructions: Were written clearly, BUT often the photos were too dark to decipher the parts I was working on. I often referred to the photo here on Amazon to assist in building.2. Parts: hardware was well labelled, but the wood pieces were not. Most labeling on the wood was illegible or non existent. Additionally, the Parts list was extensive. The wood parts list was over 4 pages longand were not listed in numeric order. So when the instructions stated to gather pieces 1607 and 2296 it took a lot of time to locate the pieces in the parts list, identify the dimensions and then measure the wood.3. Most of the assembly was fairly easy. There were only a few places where I had to "pre-drill" a hole, which seemed silly. Since so many of the holes were pre-drilled, I didn't see why they could pre-drill a few more.I am a 50 year old woman. It took me 4 days working mostly by myself with some help from my son in law. I do recommend having at least 2 people to work on this. And maybe have the kids search for the parts.

After much hesitation and thorough searching for the right playset, I purchased this set for my grandchildren for Christmas--and we just got it set up--had to wait for the snow to melt. In other postings, customers complained that it could not be set up in 1 day. I would have to agree with that. My husband and son took 2 days to get this finished--and they are both very mechanical. However, they were working in very cold conditions. Maybe in a warmer climate it could have taken less time. I have also seen that others have had problems with missing parts or bad wood. My crew reported back that they had EVERYTHING they needed, and were very happy with the quality of all aspects of the product. The wood was very good quality. As for my grandchildren's views, they are ecstatic. My 3-year-old granddaughter gets up early, gets dressed, and is out playing in her "park" before breakfast! Thanks for a great product, and I appreciated the free shipping! I would not hesitate to do this again.

The item itself, is beautiful. We took a gamble to assemble it and thankfully there was only one missing piece but we were able to do without. The items (2) arrived separately, with one (the biggest item) ripped opened on both ends. We tried contacting the seller with no luck. Both messaged and called and until this day we have not received any contact from them. The item also arrived about 3 weeks late. Although the piece is beautiful... I’d hate to go through this process again. Too much money at stake for an unknown.

The slide was broken when it arrived. Contacted the manufacturer and they said that this seller was not authorized to sell the swingset so now we are stuck trying to mend a broken slide. tried to contact seller and I was able to do a return but I don't think Amazon really understand what a return like this would be. It comes in 4 boxes and 1 was shipped with a freight company.The playset it's self is decent the price. If you are expecting a super fancy set, you need to pay more. LolMy kids love it, it works for now, and once we cut the bottom of the slide off or try to put some epoxy over it so they don't get cut, it will be better.

This amazed me when I first saw it together…sort of. It’s not finished yet but as far as we got it, it’s sturdy and it holds up over 200lbs on each swing. I wouldn’t recommend having a lot of 200lbs people on every swing but it holds on one and the top also holds a lot of weight. The slide is a bit narrow so only small children will fit but it’s also very sturdy. I saw some of the reviews and if you’re going to buy this, make sure to have someone professional who knows what they’re doing put it together. It’s not difficult but it’s best to have someone who knows what they’re doing get it done. My kids love it.
