I love Suchard Rochers. Disclaimer: I grew up with this and it was definitely the special treat. Biting into this stuff is a bite into my childhood. I get some people would find it sweet since it has some sugary crunchy pieces but the chocolate is so rich. The perfect crunch when you bite into it then the rich filling. It is not easy to get even in France so it is extra nice to find it on Amazon. My only regret is that I shared the package with my husband :)Oh yes: came on time, well packaged and very flavorful.

I love French chocolate due to its refined taste and rich flavor. However this chocolate is so sweet that me and my wife could not eat it. Since all the chocolates I tasted during my numerous trips to France were excellent, my guess for this strange phenomena would be that it was specifically manufactured for marketing in the United States. Most people in this country love their candies and pastry to be extremely sweet. I, being a European-American, cannot find this palatable. On the other hand, if you are one of those who love their candy to be extremely sweet, you might as well ignore my review and enjoy this chocolate while not showing any mercy to your pancreas...

These threw me for a loop. At first I was a bit upset that they had melted on route to my house so I thought they were ruined so I put them in the freezer. I took one out and it looked pretty bad but I love chocolate so that didn't stop me. I got into it and it has a solid shell around it still. Even though it was all melted before. Then my next bite was into the soft and creamy center that I had just froze. Well at least I thought it was. So, I really love this chocolate and the company that made them and would like to try more.

Love these. Would have given a 5 except the cost of shipping has made these way too expensive.

Those are definitely the delicious chocolates I remember from France. Each of those "rock" are quite big and cannot be eaten in one bite, but that's the point, for the price you may as well take your time to savor those chocolates. :)They are quite soft in the center while a bit crunchy on the outside because of the nuts. Dark chocolate is definitely my favorite when it comes to those Suchard rocher.There are many seller selling those, but most of them will ship from the EU so delay will be LONG. Best is to find seller who sent some stock to Amazon, so that way you can have those on PRIME fast and in one piece (hate to receive melted chocolate!).

I first tried these in France and it was some of the best chocolate I have ever tasted, especially the milk chocolate version! No lie! It’s to DIE for. But then I returned to the states and could not find them anywhere. I searched high and low and found them here. I ordered them and crossed my fingers that they will taste as yummy as I remembered, and they did!Expiration date was 10/?/2018, so I was in good hand, no stale or anything. I will set purchase again!

NO TASTE, VERY OLD. I HAD THEM SINCE CHILDHOOD. THE BOX IS BETTER, BUT THIS IS A WASTE OF MNEY. FOR THIS MONEY GO TO LA MAISON DE CHOCOLATE AND BUY FRESH OR BUY HARRY AND DAVID. FRESH AND TASTY. WHAT A WASTE OF MY MONEY WITH TRANSPORTATION FROM FRANCE!!!!!!!

Diese "Riesenpraline " ist ganz lecker. Darf aber nicht aus dem Kühlschrank kommen,da man diese sonst mit dem Messen schneiden muß. Also nur kühl und nicht kalt lagern. 1 Sück reicht vollkommen aus um Schokolade zu genießen.j

I last tried one of these over 30 years ago in France so I was delighted when I found them on Amazon. It was a nostalgic experience. The chocolate is dense, dark and smooth but not too bitter. The rich chocolate with tiny hazelnuts are a real treat and very filling. Just one chocolate is more than sufficient. £12 buys 7 chocolates so they are a decadent treat but absolutely worth it.

Avec le confinement, difficile d'aller dans des magasins habituels.Merci pour nous permettre de continuer à nous régaler, même si ces rochers bien emballés & reçus rapidement, ont toujours un goût de trop petit ;-).

I used to love these, decadent chocolate with a nutty bite, BUT I agree with another reviewer that these are far to sweet. What’s gone wrong? I thought my teeth would melt with the excess sugary-ness....yuk
