Rustic Joyful Food: Generations: (Family-Oriented Cookbook with Simple and Delicious Recipes from the Heart)

I made the recipe for sloppy joes that was that Danielle showed on the Kelly Clarkson show and followed the recipe exactly and it was tasteless. I posted my opinion on her Instagram and they deleted my post and blocked me. I received the cookbook yesterday and I am not impressed with the recipes so I am returning the book.

One of the best cookbooks ever!! Real recipes, easy to use, ingredients you can find and pronounce! Every recipe I have made has been amazing! I trust Danielle’s recipes so much, I used a recipe for company that I hadn’t even tried first. It was a hit! Buy this cookbook! And her first cookbook too, while your at it!

The book is beautiful and has some great recipes. Even if you did not cook anything from it, the pictures are so beautiful that you could set it on your coffee table.

I have only made a few recipes so far, but all have been delicious. My favorite so far is the fish and chips. It was so easy, and flaky.

Cookbooks that allow you to feel a connection with the author are so lovely. After all, food connects people which is the whole premise of Generations. Memories of foods cherished from our childhood means our loved ones live on generation to generation. Delicious recipes, gorgeous photography and beautifully written tributes to family - Bravo, Danielle!

My mom always says, “Butter makes everything better” and the pages of this book feel like, and I kid you not, like rich nourishing butter! This books is beautifully shot and feels so great in your hands! The recipes get more delicious by each page turn! I could not recommend this book more!
