I didn't have high expectations, but it actually turned out better than I expected. The assembly instructions are not as bad as some claim. I actually enjoyed putting it together. If you are careful to line each piece up with the picture and make sure each tab goes in each hole, you can have it together in 15 minutes...that's how long it took me. Be sure to use the plastic button tab covers as you go as they add a lot of stability and make it easier to put together.It is veneer fake wood, and it looks like particle board underneath the veneer. I was hoping it would match the color of my bamboo self and computer riser, but the color is a bit too light. I will try painting it with a light stain to see if that helps. I wish it was a little more stable and that the wood was thicker.My biggest disappointment is the plastic buttons. They do a better job than I expected of holding things together and can be pried off if you get a piece wrong. The problem is that they look very cheap. They make the entire structure look cheap. Screws would be much better, but the wood is not thick enough for that. In the future, I may try to sand down the tabs and glue them in instead. I think that would help with appearances. This organizer would probably look better in black or white, and it wouldn't look bad if it were all plastic instead of fake wood. If the stain doesn't make it match, I might try painting it all black instead. I'm not sure how well the paint will stick, but I am confident that I can take the button tabs off and sand each piece before painting, which will help.Over-all it is a nice little shelf even if it doesn't have the high-end look I was hoping for. With a little adaptation, I think I can make it closer to what I wanted without the bigger price tag.

This is a great product for the price! It's durable and provides the space/division to organize all that I needed, for papers, notebooks, thin paper books, etc. I wouldn't use it for anything particularly heavy though.I had a really hard time putting it together without it constantly collapsing on itself, until I discovered I needed to snap the plastic pieces on after each joint was connected, instead of waiting until it was all together to snap all the plastic pieces on. Maybe this was in the instructions, or implied, but I just didn't read close enough, haha.Once I started clipping the plastic pieces on after each step/each joint was connected, it went together quite easily. An extra set of hands may be helpful to hold things in position, too, as some pieces need to line up just right in multiple places.Mine did arrive with one of the corners smashed, so one of the "tabs" was broken, but because it was just one in the back corner, it hasn't affected it's stability and wasn't worth returning it over.

I LOVE IT!! It’s perfect for my needs. I saw a few different versions of this for sale from different sellers. I’m glad I got this one. The clips make it super easy to put together. I had it together in less than 10 minutes. It seems sturdy and I didn’t notice any chips out, though you do have to be gentle putting it together because I did chip it myself sliding it in. I removed the part that would have been for pens in the front so I could fit my bigger notebooks. Over all this is perfect for my needs and I couldn’t be happier!! The only negative I have is that I didn’t have the bunny phone holder in the package :(

Not only is this thing super cute, it was fun to build. The little lock snaps are fragile (i broke two when i was going to fast locking them in) but are secure! It isnt some super expensive elegant desk organizer... but it is cute, simple, and fun! Its made out of a laminated press board so it is rather delicate so i would advise not to get it wet but it holds 3 reems worth of thick printer paper and my notebooks too. The tissue box holder is fun and can be used as a little storage spot, too. I like it. It does what i want and i dont have to shell out a bunch of money for something that costs 3 times as much and does the same thing.

Ok, seeing it in picture I was pleased because this is exactly something I needed for my tight space of an ‘office’ for school. The material is CHEAP, but durable. I don’t recommend it for children who aren’t careful, if it’s for n adult who can be careful with the material it’ll do. The first picture shows the sides and little ‘buttons’, that is how you assemble this. You’ll have to place the sides into holes and then clip them together with those ‘buttons’ it was a little difficult for me to comprehend the instructions but as soon as I understood it was easy. The reason I give it three is because I do love it, but wished the material wasn’t something that could break if it fell with stuff in it. Also, there was one part of the item I had to cut off and sand in order to make it fit properly.

I was very excited to get this and start assembling it but I was just awful. I don’t remember if it came with instructions or not but it was a bit hard to assemble because the pieces would keep falling and wouldn’t stay put. Some of the holes didn’t even match up or were even there. Had a very awful experience so I just ended up returning it.

The media could not be loaded.  I will be more willing to rate this item once I receive an exchange for it with proper pieces. I am not just going to give it a bad rating for this fact. I would love to see it fully assembled. Thank you.

I enjoyed assembling it although the directions could have been more through! Once assembled it looks great and is very functional! I have no complaints! Eliminates desktop clutter!

Avoid this desk organizer at this price point, it's made of incredible cheap and thin particle board. Parts of the organizer have already broken apart and will likely not last a few months.When assembling the organizer, some of the tabs parts meant to be inserted into slots to complete construction snapped off due to the quality of the particle board material.We had to use duct tape in 5 areas of the organizer to mend critical areas, to ensure structural integrity. Also, parts of the faux wood finish peeled off as we assembled the organizer, exposing the dull brown particle board underneath, which we covered up with decorative tape to reduce the ugliness of the peeled off finish.Additionally, when we first opened the organizer's delivery box, particle dust and bits of broken particle board poured onto the floor – an ominous foreshadowing of the product's quality. Also, an instruction manual in multiple languages (not just Mandarin) would be appreciated.

Me encantó!En cuanto a la resistencia, considero que es buena, en mi caso sólo tengo papelería por lo que no es algo pesado. Fue muy facil de armar, y tiene buena distribucion para los papeles. Los entrepaños son para tamaño carta.Definitivamente lo recomiendo

its ok for some things. its kind of light flimsy plywood, and the clips it uses to hold together are very weak.
