Hidden In My Heart, Volume I, A Lullaby Journey Through Scripture

Part of the album title is "Scripture Lullabies".So, myself and probably most others assume this CD is made for babies. Of course, it would be beautiful to play for a baby drifting off to sleep, but it is so much more. It would also be beautiful for calming and giving peace to a struggling hospice patient. I hope the word, lullabies, does not keep you from purchasing this lovely CD. This music to scripture is a quiet soft reminder that God loves us and He is always for us. Sometimes we think God has forgotten us because we don't feel or don't think we see his actions. Sometimes we don't understand unexpected tragedies. But, God knows when the time is right to help us understand. While He is making us ready for deeper understanding in Him, we can basque in the joy he has given us through scripture, music, beauty in nature and time to rest. Take a moment of the time God has given you to rest and listen to this soft loving scripture music.I promise you, if you have earnestly spent some quiet time listening to this CD, you will be in a much more peaceful place with your Creator, your world and your self. God is good. God is good all the time.

I originally purchased this for a friend expecting a baby, but after reading the album (and the website) decided to open it and play it first. It is so touching, soothing, beautiful, calming, and spiritual, I cried. I have a special stressor in my life, in that I have stage four cancer. I am doing amazingly well now, but know my prognosis is dreary, and listening to this music is a gentle reminder I am not alone and gives me strength. As I can afford, I'll be purchasing more, including one for the new baby, to share at the cancer treatment clinic, where people are going through much more than I currently am, knowing that this music will be a comfort and blessing. It's my new life's soundtrack.

When my infant grandson was confined to the hospital pending heart surgery, I knew he needed music for his mind, but also truth for him and his mother during this difficult time. This CD was the perfect combination of real music (I direct an orchestra, so I'm picky about the quality of the arrangements and performances) and real truth. Thank you!

This is our 3rd copy, we purchased the first one a couple of years ago based on a friend's suggestion and have played it almost every evening since. The other 2 we've given as gifts to friends and family struggling with bedtime for their little ones.The music itself is perfect for bedtime, our 1 year old doesn't know English yet but most evenings he's snoring by the end of the second song. For the older 3, the beginning notes signal that bedtime is coming - time to begin winding down and settling into bed. Our kids have had *much* less bad dreams and go to sleep much more quickly when we play it. Initially we were using a cd player and would play it when we went upstairs to put them to bed. The CD player broke and in the ensuing months their wakening from bad dreams increased. Right before Christmas we were able to get the cd playing wirelessly on our sonos system and now every evening at 7:30 the music begins. Rarely we have to play it a second time since it's so effective.All that and I still haven't mentioned the message - the scripture sung in the form of lullabies is a powerful "do not be afraid for I am with you" message, something we all benefit from. The other night our 3 year old was having a time going to sleep - I put the music on, helped her to bed, said a short prayer with her and she was asleep before the end of the 2nd song smile :)The next morning she said: "I didn't have any bad dreams daddy"That's because Jesus was with you."Yes, Jesus lives in my heart, and God!":) It's always good to hear when we do *something* right :)

I had originally purchased Indigo kids (Lori Lite) albums to play non-stop in my nursery. I have a bose wave playing while my baby boy naps, plays and goes to bed at night. Although it was soothing and relaxing with cool ambient sounds, you realize after awhile its a bit eerie and off putting. Also, as a Christian, I realized that "Indigo" children are a new-agey concept that don't really line up with my family ideals. I first found Scripture Lullabies songs playing briefly on youtube. I would search "Toddler praise and worship" on the Sabbath for my son to enjoy since we put all worldy things aside on that day and found some of their videos. My son loved it so much I googled them. He's 1.5 yrs old and was always utterly calmed and captivated by their songs and videos. Now after receiving this first volume it is all that plays in his nursery. I put the new age stuff away... And honestly I love sleeping with him and falling asleep to this cd. Its a brilliantly concieved and wonderfully executed collection of scripture in song for any age group really and if you love His word, buy it! You will not be disappointed!!!

A friend of mine was playing these for her baby when I visited them, and I had to know what the music was because it was just so pretty and worshipful sounding. At the time I was trying to think of what to buy for my niece and her husband's expected baby. I downloaded the three songs available on Prime and decided I also needed to purchase all three volumes for myself. The music does not sound "childish" like a lot of children's oriented music does. It's just very soothing music, and coupled with the words based in the deep truths of Scripture, both the Old and New Testaments, it's appropriate for anyone. I've been listening to these while working around the house as well as for when I go to sleep. It has really ministered to me as well as my niece and her husband with their new baby. I Will Never Leave You and Fly Like an Eagle are two of my favorites from Vol. 1.

I absolutely love this CD-- very soothing and scriptural. Our young daughters, who both have a bit of trouble with insomnia, listen to this to fall asleep at night. I found it very calming when I dealt with anxiety after a miscarriage. The seller also was prompt and helpful regarding questions I had, and got the CD delivered quickly.

These CD's are most excellent if you want to listen to something that is soothing and quieting. Lovely to listen to after a day of stressful activities. Quiets the soul and allows you to meditate on our Awesome God and listen to precious Bible verses set to quiet soothing music.

The more I hear this the more I want to hear it again. Scripture put to music in a lovely way. Perfect for reaffirmingGod's tender care for us. Proved beyond my expectations.

Great CD! Have it on the van whenever the children are with me. Makes long drives more peaceful. Where before they were fraught with crying and fighting there is now peace in the valley! God's word put to calming music is just lovely. Even my husband likes the CD. My 10 and two year old both started to catch on to the words within a few listens. Beautiful to a momma's ears.
