Great tools and amazing warranty
I purchased this set in January of 2021. After nearly three years of daily use the 3/8” ratchet locked up and the direction switch became jammed. I contacted Tekton on Thursday evening and by Monday I had the ratchet rebuild kit they sent me free of charge. The ratchet now works again just as good as the day I got it.

Good tools for the money
I’m sure if I disassembled them and really put some TLC into them I could get them buttery smooth. But to be honest, they’re just fine right out of the box. They're not revolutionary but instead “reasonable” all over. These are examples of things that are not perfect but reasonably good and satisfactory: balance, backlash slop, ratcheting mechanism clicks, weight, shape, overall size. While I haven’t found anything that made me think they’re legendary, I really haven’t found anything disappointing, either. They’re good tools, and hopefully they’ll prove to be as durable as they feel like they should be, though only time will tell.

Wow
I purchased these ratchets after a coworker hyped up this tool company. They offer a lifetime warranty on all their tools, and from what I've read online it seems like it's mostly hassle free. Some of their tools are made in the US, some are made overseas - these ratchets are made in Taiwan. They are an excellent value for the price of around $20 each. The chrome looks perfect, they feel great in the hand, and they function very smoothly. These are miles better than the equivalent offshore brands.

Great gift for the guy on your list.
I bought this for a groom's gift for a Couples wedding shower. He was thrilled and I was happy that I could please him.

Pretty comparable to matco, mac, or snapon.
Ive had alotta tools over my lil 44 years of fixin stuff. These rank right up there in my opinion. That being said, ive not even had them a year yet and i no longer wrench for a living, though i do maintain my own amd the wife's. And by default some of the kid'sThey seem sturdy and feel well built. 90 tooth isnt 120 but its as close as you can get that ive seenYou wont be disappointed with em.I didnt like the socket rails thoughAnd i haven't had em very long is the only reaso for 4 star

New favorite tool line
I bought a few Tektron tools to build a "to go" tool kit as my tools are are in large tool chest in my workshop. These were intended to be the set so I didn't risk loosing any of my USA made Craftsman tools. Turns out I actually like them more. Well built tools good price, I think the best prosumer hand tools on the market.

These are a little hidden gem!
These ratchets so far have been fantastic. Sturdy, tight and solid. I've applied some serious torque to the 3/8" and 1/2" (think cheater bar) and they have held up! I believe they are as good as my overpriced American made ratchets but like way, way less $$. I'm starting to become a fan of tools made in Taiwan from some of these "American" tool companies. Tekton is one of them!

Wrong tool sent, but Tekton's Customer Service made it right.
Not what I ordered. The 3/8 and 1/2 are correct, but I received a quick release flex head 1/4.I contacted Customer Service at Tekton, and they had no problem sending me the correct tool which I got within a few days. These tools are unbelievable for the price tag, and I have since bought many more of their tools without a problem.

Just as good as the ones off the tool truck
Hood solid ratchets that operate smooth as butter and feel good in the hand.
