Change Of Address

" Change of Address" but not of style!!!
I am a pretty big Krokus fan so I am sure my review is biased. That being said while I enjoy " Change of Address" I don't consider it Krokus's strongest work, but still far better than some of their later efforts. I wish I could get Krokus's 1st 3 albums on C.D. like they packaged their 4th, 5th & 6th album's in a mini box set, but I guess that has little to do with " Change of Address" I can say there are a few gems on this album definitely worthy to be on a Krokus 2 disc Anthology. To the best of my knowledge this is Krokus's 9th studio album not counting any live releases it came out in or about 1986 & stay's true to Krokus's formulated brand of Hard Rock! Some may say that a band that doesn't progress is no good but I disagree AC/DC is & has always been true to their formulated brand of Hard Rock & they are still well loved. Krokus has stood the test of time & like AC/DC, Saxon & a few others never let commercialism change them. Yes it is true that Krokus got some radio air play off of Headhunter but they had gotten so popular it was inevitable. They never sold out they just got noticed!!! I would hazard to say that " Hot Shot City" is the stand out song from " Change of Address" but of course that is only my opinion.

Only krokus I didn't have yet ...
Wasn't their beat but some good songs on it ,Hard to find as it's not on digital platforms ,such as iTunes or even Amazon, all the rest are except this one ,Hot shot city & Burning up the Night are classic krokus songs that are a must ,arrived perfect and fast delivery .. only drawback is I wished it was remastered version .. but none the less Rocked !! Thx

The address remained the same, the sound changed....
I've seen reviews of this on here and various other places. Mostly negative stuff. I have nothing negative to say about it. This is a close to straight up AOR Krokus ever got. It's killer from start to finish! They do a great rendition of the Alice Cooper classic, "School's Out". They've got a fantastic power ballad, "Let This Love Begin". They have hands in the air - sing along songs, "Hot Shot City" and "Burning Up The Night". They even go a bit reggae on "Say Goodbye", which they did back on the Metal Rendez-vous song, "Tokyo Nights". If you are a fan of Krokus, this is a must have! Ignore the negative, and give it a listen. It's a great cd! Peace.

the worst effort by Krokus
This album was not very well, anything. Probably, the worst effort by Krokus. Except for "Burning up the night" and "Hot shot city", this album is a thumbs down.

A great addition to my collection. I had the original LP and wanted a CD copy. Case and art work were both in great condition.
