I purchased 2 of these desks for my children to have work spaces for virtual school. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to purchase but with everyone needing desks now, I took the chance because everywhere seems to be selling out of inexpensive desks. I am so happy I did!It's a $100 desk, not a $1,000 desk, but it is stylish & functions nicely - excellent quality for the money. Assembly for the first one took about 45 minutes, the second 30 minutes. To make assembly easy, simply follow the directions (including the part about leaving the screws a little loose until the end & then tighten). Every part of the desk is labeled with a letter & every screw with a number - making it almost foolproof. The drawer itself is made of canvas material over cardboard or something similar - it's fine for small books, pens, headphones, etc... No, I wouldn't expect it to hold bricks, but it functions fine. I'm quite pleased with my purchase & would definitely recommend this desk!

The hidden compartment didn't line up right and the whole thing feels flimsy. Will not purchase again. Assembly instructions were standard, but nothing was labeled so I was left guessing and had to switch the legs after I assembled it. Don't get me wrong, it could easily be used error... but that doesn't account for it being an inch off and feeling cheap.**Update 4/23/2020** I was contacted by Cubiker Customer Service with an offer that was overly kind to refund the product. I, personally, did not feel this was warranted as the defects were minor enough to not inconvenience me. Overall I am happy with the desk and it has shown to be more sturdy than I originally thought. I am very pleased with the customer service of Cubiker. I am willing to give them another chance as they have shown a willingness to listen.**Update 6/28/2020** I would like to say that after having my desk for two months, the alignment issue of the drawer isn't a problem as I do not even use the drawer at the current time. I have also come to find that the desk is far more sturdy than I originally thought as I have hit it a few times after losing a game or two. :) Cubiker customer service has been on top of things and an outstanding company to reach out to me more than once to see how everything is going. Overall I believe it is worth the money. They were more than willing to correct the defect, but drilling two new holes would fix that, but I'm lazy and don't have a drill. :p In the end, with the rough way I've used the desk, kicking, bumping, hitting, it is a good product and customer service is excellent.

This desk is great! Very solid and sturdy. It was however, a pain to put together. The instructions provided weren’t altogether clear, luckily we looked it up online and found a tutorial when we reached a spot we got stuck, and some of the holes drilled weren’t done very well. We prevailed and got it put together with team work! Great value, just have another pair of hands to help and find an online tutorial.

The desk is sturdy with a sleek professional design that is easy to match with decor and supplies (pen holders, organizers...etc).As for assembly, they supply everything you need and have everything labeled with easy to follow instructions. I just wish they also had written instructions since step 2 confused me. I had to do this by myself and I HIGHLY recommend having a second pair of hands.This desk so far is definitely worth the money and I recommend it.

The install is easy and simple because the description is so clear to say what we need to install on every step. The tools include in the package. The quality Is good, the wood are smooth and firm and size is match the item description.Also, the desk is easy to pack when you want to move to other place.

Desk was purchased for my college student to use in our basement. He needed a space at home to complete assignments and attend zoom meetings. Assembly was a breeze. This is a very light weight desk, but gets the job done.

A small gap line between the desk and storage bin that isn’t fixable no matter what we did. Bought for teen to do online school. The gap doesn’t bother him and hasn’t been a problem. He really likes the desk. It’s lightweight so it’s movable but still sturdy enough for a 16 yo boy.

First of all, the instructions are not clear enough. You can't tell from the pictures which way to turn the bars that support the slab of wood. The hinges were not pre drilled correctly and didn't even line up. I tried drilling holes to screw the screws in but the wood split. I am left with a desk that doesn't have a top to the cubby. Totally unsatisfactory.....
