Good product for the money
My wife and I recently returned from a cruise where we spend some time off the ship on caribbean islands. We purchased this Dry Pak Wallet based on reviews on Amazon, and most are quite accurate. When used properly, the unit very adequately protects the few items that fit while swimming or snorkeling. The few items it held for us were two room keycards, two driver's licenses, a credit card, and a wad of cash for cabs and tips. High ratings for the closure system in protected against moisture, and the lanyard attachment, which has a way of adjusting how much slack there is around your neck. This is important, as the small amount of air in with the items causes the unit to float while in the water; cinching avoids inadvertantly losing the unit to the surface when down lower in the water. I also used the lanyard by tying it to my shorts or swim trunks when I didn't want it around my neck.I would caution on the following: (1) one side has the alligator camouflage, but the other is clear. I wasn't big on advertising what I might have placed in the unit, so I fashioned a piece of cardboard ripped into a good size to cover contents on this side. They should make both sides camo or even solid on one side. (2) The closure system is rugged, and solid, but you need to make sure the materials don't slip out while removing part of the contents, as they can interfere with reclosing and damage both a card and the closure if you force something. I was in this position, and was successful at diagnosing this before bad damage was done. But I can see that if you interpret the interference differently (like thinking that the locks have "stiffened up"), you can really force the damage to be more permanent. Then you'd loose the waterprotection, and possible the credit card (if strip on back gets damaged). This is no reason not to buy this, only something that you need to watch out for. If not for these limitations, 5 stars for sure.

Stay Dry and Secure Great Buy
If you are looking to keep your personal items, such as credit cards, license, money, passport, or any small item dry and secure, then this is perfect for you. The clasp that closes the pouch is easy to open and close, super secure and it even floats, just in case it gets away from you in the water. I have used this product completely submerged in the water, on water rides, and even had it floating in the ocean. I have used this product on more then one occasion and each time it works just as well as the first time. The blue design on the pouch allows your items to be disguised, so others can't see exactly what is in it. The strap that is connected, you can either wear around your neck or even under a pair of pants or shorts if you tie it around a belt loop and tuck it in. The strap is secure and sturdy, so someone can't just grab the pouch and rip it off of you. I would recommend this product, I keep mine in my suitcase for when I travel. GOOD BUY!

Does the job very well, and perfect for the LG Lotus!
I enjoy water sports and at times I like to bring my cellphone with me, just in case (like kayaking somewhere for a long while). I used to put my phone in a small double ziplock freezer bag and tuck it in my bathing suit pocket. This worked fine... but the bag would eventually deteriorate and I'd have to use another. Of course, they're cheap but they're not guaranteed to be waterproof. Plus, a hole could inadvertently develop that might be missed, compromising the seal.Anyway, while browsing on Amazon for a few items, I happened upon this "dry pak" wallet. It is designed for holding ID, money, and a few other things, but not big enough for a full wallet. However, it is PERFECT for the Lotus! My LX600 fits right inside, even with a hard shell attached. The Elite should fit in it as well. The closure tabs are a bit thick, so this isn't something you'll find comfortable in your pocket. It's really meant to sit beside you, stow in something, or hang off your neck. There are two knobs that close the tabs tightly and they work very well. The flexible plastic case is thick, and has a smooth finish to it, but has enough of a tactile feel so that it won't be prone to sliding off of a smooth surfaces. My Lotus One fits inside it snugly but with enough room so I can reach in with my fingers to extract the phone. It's just about a perfect size for the phone, almost as if it were made for it.Regarding it being "waterproof", some other reviewer dinged it for the manufacturer stating that this isn't designed for submersion. Well yes, that's true. It is waterproof with regard to the surface of the water. However, I decided to try it out with cash and a credit card. I put the items in, squeezed out the air, and then went swimming with it stashed in my bathing suit back pocket. It worked! No leaks. I was swimming in about 8 feet of water, occasionally, diving to the bottom. The manufacturer made the disclaimer about it not being waterproof for submersion, because it may not handle being under water for long periods. So, although you could probably do fine with a small double ziplock freezer bag instead (which I have used), this one doesn't wear out so easily and has a seal that is locked into place. I heartily recommend it.

Price has more than doubled... they wear out quickly
I originally paid 8.94 plus free shipping - at that price I didn' mind if they wore out and started leaking pretty quickly - but at 14.99 plus 5 bucks shipping it doesn't make sense anymore. Too bad...

Does its job...
I've used this on multiple vacations as my wallet and it works great. Keeps everything dry and I feel so much safer wearing my cash around my neck. My only gripe is that it (and every other one like it) is see through. I'd notice kids staring a me...look down...and realize it had flipped to the clear side. We actually narrowly avoided getting mugged in Mexico and I suspect it's because I was flashing cash while wearing this. But it's so much better than the hard plastic ones where you have to take everything out everytime you open it...it doesn't really matter if you put it inside your shirt I guess. I'm probably going to buy another one for our trip this year since it's still better than the alternatives.

Try a different brand
I tested this pack in the sink with Kleenex inside before leaving on vacation, everything was fine, no leaks. It worked once while on our Caribbean holiday, the second time our money, ship card and id soaked even though closed tightly. Something needs to work more than once or twice. Try a different brand.

It will be useful when I will go to the beach or at the public pool and don't want to leave my precious belonging, like cards, money and keys, but you can't put a passport, it's not enough large, it's waterproof but can't be in immersion in water for a long period, if you have papers inside they can be wet., but I will put it under my swim cap, that way I will be sure nothing will be wet and don't lost it...

Great Product
Fantastic purchase. We took this will us on our cruise on days we were doing water activities off the ship. We put our ship pass, money and credit cards. My husband had it in his bathsuit shorts and it never failed us. Every thing was always dry. Highly recommend the product and delivery was extremely fast at 2 days from purchase.

The Dry Pak Aligator Wallet meets all expectations
I purchased this waterproof pouch to allow me to use my Fitbit step counter during my water aerobic 45 minute sessions. I loop the pouch and lanyard around my bathing suit strap and tuck the pouch inside the suit. I tried it first with a folded tissue inside without the rather expensive Fitbit which is about 3/4" x 3" and 1/2" thick. There was no moisture whatsoever, The pouch allows ample room the the Fitbit and also a folded tissue close to the top closure which would catch any drip should there be one on the outside when opening it up to retrieve the Fitbit. Even though the pouch and plastic tabs seem sturdy, I am careful to only spread the top and tabs more than necessary. There is air in the pouch after sealing it so you can see and be assured it is sealed. Previous reviewers cautioned to make sure to fold the packing cardboard in order to remove it without ripping the pouch. Good suggestion. It really is waterproof.

Very handy
Good quality, easily opens and closes to provide a water tight seal. A little bit too small to be of real good use ( need to order the one size bigger) but suffices if all you want to carry is a few bucks a credit cad and a key or two
