BRIGHT LIGHT!! QUICK RECHARGE!!
I am really impressed with this product! I bought one to mount on a home defense, pistol caliber carbine (9 mm). This is a powerful and nicely priced appliance. Lights up what ever on hell's creation that you have the inclination to point it sort of towards. Easily recharged with the same cord that I use to charge my android phone, so simple to ensure it is charged and ready. I have since purchased three more of these efficient little lights; one for the car, one for general home use, and one to my elderly parents that live in the country, and it is DARK!! My Mom canShine the light from the house and illuminate objects I dare say for a half mile, an uneducated guess, of course, but they feel more secure.

Installed, and so far, so good... :) UPDATE (1-29-21) NOPE! NEW UPDATE (2-5-21) NEW!!! (7-18-21)
Out of the box and placed on my rifle it appears to be a very well made flashlight, and it is really easy to work if the remote is placed correctly. (I used Velcro)I actually love the thing, but by not trying it out at night and firing, I can't say much, yet.I'll return later after I have tried it out, but for now, it seems to be made very well and everything about it seemed to be 'just right'.The screws/bolts are not perfect, I mean, they work O.K., but they are not something that you'd find in a quality piece, this is where they cut corners, or one of the places.Don't expect sheer perfection and be glad that there is an option for us that is this inexpensive. This 'feels' like a quality flashlight, now whether or not the ability to last is there, only time will tell.I have other hand-held flashlights that are made REALLY cheaply, they have lasted me for years, so I expect even more from this.Oh yeah, the price is REALLY good!Speaking of price, I bought another brand recently for my shotgun, it was $23.00, it doesn't have the strobe or SOS on it, but its basically the same flashlight other than that. Had I seen this first I would only have to pay around $3.00 more to get the strobe/SOS options, I sure wish I had.I'd really need that stuff when and if I someday end up on Gilligan's Island. :)***UPDATE***1-29-21The light only works intermittently now...I have it on a rifle that has been on a gun rack, it has not been touched except occasionally I 'test' the lights and anything battery related, that is how I discovered the flashlight's problem.(I have it hooked up to the remote switch)I "tested" it, and nothing happened, so I kept trying, nothing... I then removed the flashlight from the rifle and I attempted to make it work, still nothing, then I started to remove the end cap, as soon as I turned it, it came on. That made me think that maybe it was just a battery/electrical connection problem, so I kept trying it and and it seemed to be fine. I left it off of the rifle, to be sure, later, I came back and click the remote's button, nothing...I started to remove the end cap, again, it started working again, every time that I clicked the switch, it worked. That went on for 5 tries, it wouldn't work, then it would, but only intermittently, and on and on.Next, I replaced the remote's cap with the regular end cap, that doesn't have a remote, it seemed to work fine. Then, later, with it not being touched, and it was in the exact spot, I gently touched the on/off switch and, nothing...I slightly, and I do mean, "slightly" loosened the end cap, and viola!, it worked again! Next, I waited a few minutes, came back and tried it again, nothing.Hopefully you get the picture, it is so intermittent that you can't even figure out why it is acting this way. It's not anything that I am doing, and as far as I know, the mechanical parts inside of the light are working, but, only sometimes... Normally, it has been my experience that when this sort of thing happens it just means that it's not tight enough, that is not what this is, I am sure, I have tried it all kinds of ways, tight, loose, kind of tight, etc.I neglected to mention that I also tried it with another battery to see if that was somehow the root cause, nope, it did the exact thing again. So, I cannot, and will not use this for home protection, if you cannot depend on it, it could cost you your life. I'm not being dramatic either, if it 'might not work', then it's not very useful .Now, I bought this in November, I am sure that this is out of warranty for a return, but, I just needed to let everyone know that there 'could be' a problem with your light, don't take it for granted. As of right now, I cannot recommend it to anyone, when before this happened, I gave it FIVE STARS... Now, it's TWO STARS._______________________________________________________________________________I will ***UPDATE*** again with a 'more positive' review if the company ends up replacing it free of charge.I do understand that things will happen sometimes, and I accept that, but when it hasn't been touched, no banging around, etc., that shouldn't happen, and, I can forgive its faults if the company replaces it.I will try to contact them and see what happens, I'll let you know how that works out...________________________________________________________________________________***NEW UPDATE*** (2-5-21)Haven't heard from the company and didn't get an answer in the 'Ask a Question" area either, nobody understood my question... I have now made this a 1 STAR item...I noticed that the company sometimes checks the Ask a Question area, but I haven't been contacted by them.Of course if they make this good I will change this review somewhat, it's still a defective piece, but things happen.DO NOT BUY!DO NOT BUY!DO NOT BUY!This item works intermittently only, I cannot use this because it would have been used for home defense and I cannot count on this if I need it if it doesn't work 100% of the time.Again, when I press the button, ANY button, it works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't, that is not what I wanted. If I pressed this button in a dire circumstance, it might be the last time I would do that since I can't count on it.No, it is not because the button on the flashlight is set on an intermittent setting, it does have several settings, it is malfunctioning, it is not a button.(I mention that because someone suggested that in the Ask a Question Help area...)Just so you know that I know how to use it...I click the flashlight button and that is how it works. If you press it and hold it, that makes the flashlight go off.If you press the button and it comes on, and press it again, that makes the light dimmer, press it again, it makes it even more dim.Press it again and it a strobe, press it the last time and it flashes the morse code. So, I know how to use it, it's just that when I press the ON button, it sometimes doesn't not come on, I have to remove the end cap where the battery is to make it come on, which is not a good thing if you need a working flashlight. When it works, I REALLY like this flashlight, I want to like this flashlight, I want this flashlight, it just doesn't work properly.Hopefully that comes across. :)Well, it appears that I have to update this again...I received this e-mail from Weitars on 7-14-21, I didn't want to drag their company through any more negative stuff, but, they kind of forced my hand.I also want to mention that in the 'ASK A QUESTION' part of the reviews my question that I had asked months ago is no GONE.The other day I checked on it and it was there, meaning, it had been there for months, but now, somehow, it's mysteriously gone, just in the last 4 days.Another thing is, on Weitars Amazon page they only show that they sell women's lunch boxes, but, if you are looking at this, that means that they still are able to sell the flashlights, so that is weird. Again, 4 days ago they were still selling flashlights on their Amazon page. So, something strange is going on, I don't know what.Below is the recent communication (if you can call it that) between Weitars and myself...________________________________________________________________________________________________________"Dear Randy C.Thank you for purchasing our products. Have a good day!Sincerely"________________________________________________________________________________________________________I wrote them a reply on the same day..."Dear xxxxxx, (I am purposely hiding the person's name)First, I really do like the flashlight, I can't use it for my intended purpose which was on a rifle, but I can use it.Since then I have not had any intermittent problems with it turning on, (although I rarely try) it comes on just about every time, but, I didn't buy it for a regular everyday flashlight, I bought it to be placed onto a weapon, a rifle I wanted to use for protection. After all, it is sold as a, "tactical flashlight", if it weren't labeled as a, "tactical" light I wouldn't have wrote what I did in my review, I would've just said it only worked intermittently. Now when it works, I can't rely on it to work if I needed it, as in a literal life or death emergency, so, I can only use it in a non-emergency situation, not on the intended rifle it was bought for.So, if that light that a customer buys doesn't work when he or she uses it in a life of death situation, someone could literally die, I sure wouldn't want that on my conscience, hopefully you wouldn't either. So, if I received any money back, that would not be telling what I feel is the real story, and the story is, I couldn't, and still can't use it for its intended purpose, no matter what I may get in return. A lot of people read those reviews and they hope to get a true feel for the item by what 'we' the buyer thinks. If I did what you want and got reimbursed for $33.00 that would show that I have zero integrity and no true story that could benefit others about a probable faulty product, and my integrity is something I like about myself. Changing what happened cannot be done.True integrity can't be bought.Had you sent me (or any customer) a NEW and improved flashlight and wanted it reviewed, that would have been an honest approach, I would have seen that your intent was honorable and you are truly interested in getting the item improved over what was sent, but, that didn't happen either (especially in a timely manner), that is how you should help customers and do business. What I can do if you want, is, I will go on the existing review and mention that you did in fact contact me about this via e-mail and you offered me a full refund if I deleted my review, but, in all honesty, I would also have to include what that money actually means, which would be actually worse, because what you ask is nothing short of a bona fide bribery. That would be the truth. My review stands as it is now, it is being truthful, not unless you want me to add something else that you feel is truthful, I am not out to hurt your business, I have no ill will at all towards you or the company.Reviews are not so much for you as it is for new customers, I owe no allegiance to nobody, but I am an honest person. What this e-mail is actually is a true review of your business methods and practices, and item quality, read into it what you will. Now, I could also mention that you offered to reimburse me for my trouble without mentioning you asking me to remove the review, but, again, in all honesty, that would be deceiving, so, I can't do that either.Really though, I am sincerely glad that you took enough interest in your product to contact me, although, I wish it could have been sooner than the 8+ months it took. Like most customers I would hope that the sellers on ALL sites read what the customers say, you can only benefit, this would have been nipped in the bud quickly at that point and time.I am sure this is not the answer that you hoped for, but my integrity is worth more than $33.00, it actually doesn't have a price.Keep this e-mail handy for future use it might give you pause in your reply on your next online review. There is a moral here, and that moral is, "Treat others as you would want to be treated", you will have customers eating out of your hand using that method. If the product is good and you treat people well nothing but good can happen.I am looking forward to your reply.Sincerely,Randy"________________________________________________________________________________________________________Today, 7-18-21 I received this reply from Weitars... AGAIN. (This is -probably- a Cut and Paste that they do as a company, which in itself is not a good way to do 'real' business)________________________________________________________________________________________________________"Dear Randy C.Thank you for purchasing our products. They do not have a horrible product, but their business practices says more than their product.I do not have a vendetta against them at all, I just think that this says a lot about a company and it should be told.Remember, I only paid $24.00 for my flashlight, they then offered me (which appears as a bribe) of $33.00 for my trouble, then, they replied to me with another offer (apparently larger bribe) of $38.00, that is $14.00 MORE than I paid in the first place.Sound fishy to you?Yes, I do understand that their reputation means something to them, but this is not the way to go about it. Remember, I mentioned twice that IF they did contact me (months ago) I would consider changing my review if they sent me a new flashlight. Also, when I received this today I did not, and do not plan on replying to them, they are not listening anyway. If they were, I would not have gotten a cut and paste reply.Whatever you do, do not buy from these guys if you want to be treated well or expect some results, well, not unless you are into it for gaining a few dollars.

Didn't come with everything. But the company made it right
I only received the flashlight and charging cord. I didn't receive anything else. It was supposed to come with a corded pressure switch and a mount..After I posted that I didn't get everything I received an email from the company. I told them the problem and they sent me a code to get another one. They told me just to keep the first one. So I ended up with 2 flashlights after all said and done. They screwed up but corrected it so I'd that's a good thing in my book. The light is nice. Bright!! It takes a rechargeable 18650 battery so you should never have to buy batteries for it. So far the battery life seems good. Been using the one I didn't mount to my gun around the house. It's a shaper, pretty penetrating beam of light. And seems pretty solid built as well. The gun mount seems to work good. And the pressure switch is a nice option when mounting on a gun. And did you see the price?

Awesome Light for the moneyunbeatable
After looking at AR 15 Tactical Lights I was lucky enough to purchase this one. It has many features found on lights triple the cost. Build Quality is excellent, illumination excellent, Pressure Pad offers Multi function flash, strobe full on plus the 2nd pressure pad button position is set for full on. I did have to mount rail attachment to mount it though it comes with a sturdy mount. If you are looking for a light with a heavy duty tactical build & the looks, you cannot beat the price for the quality you receive. I like the USB rechargeable battery. Buy It

Premium Quality Tactical Flashlight
My sons and I are shooting enthusiasts and we train regularly. We have been using this flashlight during our simulation exercises for over a year. This means that this Weitars brand flashlight has been affixed to one of our AR-platform rifles and gets subjected to a lot of dirt, dust, recoil & vibration. The on/off functions reliably whether I use the pressure switch or the button. The LEDs are ultra-bright, literally lighting up the entire room. Alternatively, this light can be zoomed in which allows you to see for a long way into the night (albeit with a narrow focus). Even the battery has worked well by holding its charge and allowing us to recharge it dozens of times. I rate this flashlight overall as a 5-star superb value. The quality of this product is on par with high-end & well-known brands but is a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend the Weitars LED Tactical Flashlight to anyone looking to add some furniture to their AR platform.

Not green
Not green. Soft white...reminds me of my bathroom light. Not powerful, more like powder-puff. Not worth returning since it is so cheap. Gave it to my grandchild to play with. Not recommended.

Works great
It arrived on time.It mounted easily. It is very bright. The touch pad is very tactile - some may not like that. The cover for the USB charger is extremely poor and was clearly designed by someone who never spent a day outside, HOWEVER, it is there...if you want to use it.
